And A27 plus is the new addition in that. Device is very well built and it features all the important specification that is needed in a smartphone. Features and Specification

Karbonn A27 is a 5inch capacitive touchscreen display. It features a resolution of 540X960. The phone is dual SIM supportable both GSM and 3G. The phone is powered with 1 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The phone comes with storage of 4 GB with expandable storage via micro SD card up to 32 GB. So, in terms of storage, device has great offer. Coming to the battery phone is having a 2000 mAh removable battery which has enough juice to keep your phone powered on. In terms of camera phone is having an 8 MP rear camera with flash support and a front facing camera. So, camera also got pretty good features. Besides that phone is having all wireless capabilities including Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. So overall device has all the features.

Design and Quality

Karbonn A27 plus is a 5 inch device. The device is well built with use of smothered plastic and metallic brushing. The device has got a front camera and an earpiece in front of it. The bezels on screen are bit larger that makes this 5 inch device to 5.3 inch. On back of device are an 8 MP rear camera and a flash below it. There is Karbonn branding and loudspeaker in the bottom of back. The device has metallic layer around it edges to save it from falls. The metallic layer adds one more star to the device. On top of device is a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB charging port. Overall, we have a decent phone with attractive design.

OS and Tech

The phone comes with Android 4.1 with custom UI of Karbonn. However, Android 4.1 is a bit older but still it is great. Doing multitasking with OS was a good experience. The phone responded to every tap promptly because of its responsive OS. In terms of hardware the phone is having a 1 GHz dual core processor that handles all your tasks easily.

Camera and Multimedia

In terms of camera phone is having an 8MP rear camera with flash support and a VGA front facing camera. Taking photos with 8MP camera was great. It takes all your photos with just a single tap on capture icon. The camera can take great shots in low lighting also. However it does struggle up. But overall it manages to pass the test. In terms of multimedia, phone is able to play all universal audio and video formats. The phone can play HD videos also. So, it’s a nice phone to choose.

Battery and Memory

The phone comes with a 2000 mAh non removable battery. The battery easily lasts a day in our tests. However you will have to charge up the phone during evenings. But still the phone is having a great battery backup. In terms of memory, phone is powered with a 512 MB of RAM. The internal storage of device is limited to 4GB out of which a lot of space is taken up by system apps and other storage. So, you have to install a micro SD card from day 1. The device supports micro SD card up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot.

The device is aggressively priced but still attracts so much. The device passed all the tests without glitch. However device became laggy at times. But all in all it impressed in the results. The device will prove a close competitor to Karbonn A6 Turbo and Karbonn Titanium S8. So, it’s a nice device with great offerings but still aggressively priced.
