Features and Specifications

The device has 2000mAh Li-ion battery. Processor is 1GHz dual core while the RAM is 512MB. Screen is 5inch large made up of TFT LCD that produces 16m colors. The rear camera is 5MP with an LED flash light while the front camera is VGA to be sued only for the selfies and little video chats. OS here is Android v4.1.1 Jelly Beans and the internal storage is 4GB which is extended up to 32GB through microSD card. It is available in white and black colors. The connectivity options in this device are Edge, microUSB, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth. This is a dual SIM smartphone.

Design and Quality

This is a large device having 5-inch large screen size. It is beautifully built and the look of the device really attracts attention. The edges are beautifully and largely curved. The build quality is also decent. It gives metallic feel though it is made up of low quality metal but doesn’t produce cheap look. The front is all covered with plastic with three navigation keys towards bottom and front camera, speaker and sensor towards top. The back carries the rear camera which is little embossed with an LED light and a speaker grille towards bottom.

OS and Tech

Android v4.1.1 Jelly Beans is not that old OS which has been provide to this device. Apparently the device looks nice but it suffers from performance issues due to limited RAM. At numerous times the lags have been observed while playing games or watching videos. Little more improvement should have been given to this device so that this would have attracted customers due to its performance as well besides look.

Camera and Multimedia

Camera department is also ignored here. The 5MP rear camera though generates presentable images under good light but the images lacks full details while under low light even though the flash works fine the quality of the images is not even average. Under low light, the images are very noisy and grainy and sometimes feel not real. The videos recorded by it suffer the same problem and the videos are grainy and shaky most of the time. While the audio of the videos are also affected at times. This is one of the drawbacks of this device. The front VGA camera can only serve little purpose for the selfies.

Battery and Memory

2000mAh battery is decent addition to this device after having much useless hardware. This battery can carry the phone working for more than 24hrs very easily. Since the rest of the hardware of the device is not upgrade one, so this battery is fair enough to keep all the things working for whole day. But the performance of the device is not at all appreciating. 512MB RAM is very limited but since this is an entry level smartphone so may be some people would accept it but these days even entry level devices are coming with at least 1GB RAM. The internal storage is 4GB which is also less though it can be expanded further up to 32GB through microSD card and this expansion is a decent one.

Verdict

This is a budget sensitive smartphone and can be compared its performance with some of the mid-range devices. Though it doesn’t have latest hardware and good connectivity features are also not provided in it but even then this is considered as decent handset at the price range it has been offered. This is best suited for the casual gamers and movies lovers since it has wonderfully nice screen but it is not good for photographers. This device is better than Micromax Bolt A67 which is priced higher than this and has hardware much lower than this one.
