This device is 158g supporting dual SIM. The screen size is 5inch made up of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen bringing out 16M colors. The resolution of the screen is 720x1280pi and offers multi-touch while the protection to the screen is provided by the corning gorilla glass. Android v4.2.1 Jelly Beans have been provided as OS in it. The processor in it is 1.2GHz quad core. RAM is 1GB while the built-in storage is 16GB which can be expanded up to 32GB using the microSD card. The rear camera is 13MP with an LED light and other features are also provided with it like panorama, geo tagging, autofocus, face/smile detection, touch focus, HDR. The front camera is 5MP which is used for the video calls and the selfies. Design and Quality

The design of this device is similar to that of Canvas HD as well as Canvas 2. Though from distance, the device looks similar to its older brothers but closely inspecting the device reveals it to be more polished than its previous versions. The build quality is plastic and gives a plastic feel as well. This device is available in grey and white colors. The front of device is all dominated by the 5-inch screen and there are three capacitive touchscreen at the bottom of the screen. Chrome grille serves as an earpiece, while the front facing camera and the sensor towards the top of the screen. The bezel of the device is wide and the phone is also surrounded by the aluminum frame that actually gives it premium look. There are small bands of white colors towards the left. The power button is placed towards right and the volume rocker is towards left. The keys are made up of metal. MicroUSB port is found at the bottom while the headset jack is at top of the device. The back of the device is texture plastic where can be found the rear camera and the LED light.

OS and Tech

It runs Android v4.2.1 Jelly Beans and this is somewhat latest version of Android OS. The OS performs its duty very well with decent support from the 1GB RAM and processor. The performance of the device is also decent enough as it was expected.

Camera and Multimedia

The camera lens in both the front and rear cameras are upgraded form of what has been provided in the Canvas HD. The camera app has the timer as well which can adjust the timer for 10seconds. There is little lag in the performance of the shutter and minor delay during the capturing of two consecutive images and thus it is really hard capturing images quickly. Daylight images taken by this device are decent but low light and indoor images are grainy and lack details. This camera also records full HD videos which are of good presentable quality. The front camera performance is above average.

Battery and Memory

The 2000mAh battery can easily take the device working for whole day under moderate till little heavy use. So the battery is decent here. One can easily play games, watch movies, 1-1.5hrs of calls and use internet whole day on this device. The phone has the capacity of power saving which then enables the device run for more than a day. 1GB of RAM is enough for mid-range devices while the internal storage is also decent with good expansion further.

This device is the best increment of Canvas HD. The build quality of the device has been improved along with camera. But rest there is nothing extraordinary being offered by this device. The price at which this device has been offered is little at higher end looking at its specifications. There are other devices in the market which have improved features at the same price, this device is being offered like Gionee Elife E3 and Zen Ultrafone 701HD.
