Lava Iris 356 Mobile Price in India
Introduced by Lava, a local Indian handset maker company, Lava Iris 356 is a 3G enable budget smartphone hits the Indian smartphone market in July 2013 along with Lava Iris 402. Lara Iris 356 is a dual-SIM mid-range smartphone powered with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean and an array of the most basic smartphone features at very affordable price. It seems that by introducing this low-cost 3G enable smartphone; the company meant to win the contest of budget smartphoneand aimed to have 3G enabled smartphone in the access of everyone. Although being a low-cost entry level smartphone, Lava Iris 356 definitely lacks the ultimate features, speed and performance offered by premium smartphone but with an eye-catching design, the phone will definitely attract the attention of smartphone users to opt for it.
Features and Specifications
Lava Iris 356 features relatively small 3.5 inches HVGA display with TFT capacitive touch screen allowing multi touch. Lava Iris 356 is powered with 1.2GHz dual core processor along with a mid-range 256MB RAM. The phone has support for dual SIM and has dual camera including 1.3 Megapixels rear and 0.3 Megapixels front VGA camera. The internal storage is confined to 512 MB which can be extended up to 32GB using microSD card. To power it up and keep it alive, the phone is packed with 1500mAh battery. With Android OS v4.2 Jelly Bean, the phone is capable for multi tasking and has support for all the Android Apps.
Design and Quality
The overall dimension of the Lava Iris 356 is 62.5x116.9x12.6mm which along with 112g weight gives the phone great portability and operability. The phone bar shaped body makes it more handy. The front is flat with three navigational keys under the front screen while the back is somewhat curvy equipped with 1.3 Megapixels and LED flash light. The sides houses a big volume rocker switch on the right and home lock key while the top resides standard 3.5mm Audio Jack to connect the phone with headphones and speakers and Mini USB charging port. The phone comes exclusively in elegant Grey and Black colors which makes the phone glossier.
OS and Tech
With overall average tech specs, it seems that the company didn’t compromise on the clocking power and speed of processor and equipped the Lava Iris 356 with 1.2 GHz dual core processor which makes it a good choice for smartphone buyers, however lacking may be seen in the 256 MB low-end RAM. The device is powered with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS with some preloaded apps from Lava including Lava Zone.
Camera and Multimedia
The phone has a bit low quality camera set including 1.3 Megapixels rear camera and the 0.3 MP front camera. However the camera has autofocus feature, flash support, Geo-tagging, Smile & Face detection, Panorama Mode and 4x Digital optic zoom, but is unable to produce good quality images. The secondary VGA camera is however, good for video calling at the rate of 30 fps but no way for the selfie. The phone support and play almost all audio and video formats.
Battery and Memory
To keep it running a day long, Lava Iris 356 is packed with 1500mAh battery which is not the good one but can deliver talk timeup to 5 hours and standby time up to 200 hours. It seems that the 1500mAh battery is enough for this mid-range phone to keep it functional all the day under average use. 256 MB RAM is however a real drawback of this smartphone and make the contest tough for Lava Iris 356 as compared with other mid-range smartphone including Karbonn A29 and Intex Aqua i2 as both these phones are equipped with 512MB RAM. Internal memory of the Lava Iris 356 will also disappoint the buyers but with the support for 32GB microSD card, they can easily aid in the storage of this phone.

Verdict
Lava Iris 356 is a mid-range smartphone with average features but if compared the price and features offered by Lava Iris 356, the device is definitely a good choice for the buyers to buy it as the phone offered a lot in the low price. The internal memory and RAM is really disappointing however the processor is above the expectation and is a plus for the phone to dominate over the other budget smartphone in the market and to give tough time to Micromax Bolt A24, Panasonic T31 and Karbonn A108.
