Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 Mobile Price List in India

The latest model of Micromax, this Android 4.2 A117 Canvas Magnus with 4GB storage space and 1GB RAM, 5 inches HD display is available in the market. This double SIM device with aluminum covering is available in Red and White color.

Features & Specifications

The box package contain the device, 2000 mAh battery power, warranty card, instructions, headphones (of regular quality) and information wire. The SAR value is described on the box : 0.44 W/kg @ 1g Head and 0.67 W/kg @ 1g Whole body.

Design and Quality

Design sensible the device looks just like the Micromax Canvas A110 and the Micromax Canvas A116, identical shapes and thinner towards the sides, however the Micromax A117 is made of Aluminum. Starting up battery power section itself is not always easy. The back cover is Aluminum and is clearly described. Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 is about 141 grams with battery power, width is 9.05mm, depth is 74.06mm and length is 144.42mm. 3.5mm sound slot and small USB slot are placed on the top, power / secure key on the right and quantity rocking chairs on the left.

On the back part, there is 12MP AF digital camera with LED display and presenter out. There are double SIM spots (SIM 1/ SIM 2) and small SD cards slot with 32GB cards reinforced. This device comes with a 5 inches capacitive contact IPS display with 1280×720 p (HD) great quality with 16.7M shades. Touch is sleek and sensitive and watching perspectives are excellent. There is LED indication for notices.

Does the display come with some protection? Well we are not sure and it is not described, and hence to be on the more secure part better use a display secure. There are accelerometer, mild and vicinity receptors and like many other Micromax devices, the attractive receptors are losing.

OS and Tech

This device operates on Android operating system 4.2.1. OTG is supported; I could link my pen drive using an OTG wire. OTA up-dates are reinforced. The A117 is improved A116 same things but with great MP digital camera and 1.5GHz processer and Power VR SGX 544 MP GPU. The overall efficiency is excellent and standard results are amazing.

Camera and Multimedia

There is front 2MP set concentrate digital camera and back 12MP auto-focus digital camera with LED display. The still digital camera great quality is excellent. In fact, even in low mild circumstances (check the road mild example image) the outcome is excellent.

On the box, it is described that the device can history in 720p great quality, however it can history in complete HD great quality at 30fps. Do examine the example pictures and video clips at the end of this evaluation. You can perform complete HD video clips with ease using MX player in S/W or H/W method.

The sound is noisy; I could not analyze the in call sound and GPS. However, that should be excellent enough. Wi-Fi indication seemed fairly powerful and Wireless, 3G proved helpful well. The device is warmed up and especially when you are outdoor, under the sun, using the device it will heat up much quicker and heat range could reach up to 47 levels.

Battery and Memory

it has 1GB RAM, 640MB with cache memory and 4GB storage space 1.61 allocated as inner storage space and 0.98GB as storage space for applications. There is small SD cards slot – you can set up / move applications to external storage space.

The 2000 mAh battery power should last for a day with regular utilization. I did analyze battery power while executing the standards and while playing few activities. I used the device for 31 minutes operating Benchmarks applications etc, battery power decreased from 82% to 75% (7%). Performed activities for 19 minutes and battery power decreased by 6%.

Verdict

Micromax seems to have got the costs right and are back to normal. The A117 is better alternative to A116 and will soon substitute it. It is also a great choice (1.5GHz quad core). Magnus A117 with top quality looks, its aluminum body has hot selling smart phone same as Micromax A116. Stimulatingly, the Micromax A117 was released with Micromax Canvas Turbo compressor A250 but in my thinking in the end, A117 will do better than the A250.
