BlackBerry Z30 Mobile Price in India
It is another smart phone in the Z series. Announced in September 2013 and released the next month in October, BlackBerry Z30 is, like most BlackBerry phones, a business-oriented smart phone equipped with the usual functions; message, calling, email checking, and an additional BlackBerry Messenger 6 to help users keep in touch. It has been a successful model and keeps the authentic design of BlackBerry. It’s a good set to have but there’s nothing extraordinary about it that would justify its price group.
Features and Specifications:
The phone has a slot for 64 GB memory, a USB port, allowing quad band connectivity and networking on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, and has good designing. It is a very capable smart phone. It has numerous installed applications especially BlackBerry’s own messenger. For new users the multi-touch and on-screen keyboard is easy to learn and the smart phone adapts to the requirements of the user. Above all it has a good battery time and good display quality. The camera is 8 MP but the results are not as good as other mobiles with similar specifications.
Design and Quality:
The screen size is 5 inches diagonally with 16:9 aspect ratios. The dimensions of BlackBerry Z30 are 5.53 x 2.83 x 0.37 inch and weigh around 172 grams. The mobile is thin in design but feels solid to the touch. It displays a 1280 x 720 resolutions and 24-bit color depth.
OS and Tech:
With Ardeno 320 as its GPU and Dual Core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960T Pro CPU, this highly modern machine runs on the operating system BlackBerry OS 10.2 which can be upgraded to v10.3.1. It seems like the software quality is not that good when compared to other androids of the similar price range, like Samsung Galaxy or iPhones and this is where the gadget loses some points because it has certain restrictions, for example, it does not support Java.
To link your smart phone to a computer you need BlackBerry Link software but it is sometimes difficult to transfer or share data through this smart phone.
The BlackBerry Z30 supports connectivity for GPS, GPRS, 4G LTE, GSM, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. It has tons of online applications that it keeps linked over the internet and that make good use of the processor of the smart phone.
Camera and Multimedia:
With dual-integrated stereo speakers, multiple headphones and hands-free & Bluetooth capability for audio it allows a number of formats to be encoded and decoded and supports display. It also has an image, document, audio and video editor.
It has an 8 MP rear-camera with LED flash, 3264 x 2448 pixels and auto-focus with a 2 MP front-camera. It allows geo-tagging, face detection and HDR. The camera supports 1080p and 720p resolutions.
Battery and Memory:
With up to 25 hours for mixed use, 18 hours talk time and 16 days standby time the 2880 mAh non-removable battery makes this smart phone highly attractive. Its power consumption and consistency of performance is very efficient and does not give users any trouble.
The phone has an internal memory of 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash with an optional micro SD slot allowing 64 GB.
Pros and Cons:
For pros:
• Consistent Performance
• Very good internal and external storage
• Good Battery Time
• Good Build Quality
For cons:
• Average Camera Quality
• Not worth the price
• Immature ecosystem
Verdict:
The Blackberry Z30 has its parallels in Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S as it falls under the same price range, was released at the same time period and BlackBerry fans would prefer it above other smart phones. The user reviews come down to an average rating because the camera and software are not quite up to the mark. However, the design is very good, and its performance is consistent. Also one of the key advantages BlackBerry Z30 has over other smart phones is its extra battery time. Buyers might like the BlackBerry Z30 because of affection for the Z series but the most important point is its extra storage capacity which is worthy of admiration and fulfills a most basic user requirement.
