The look and feel of the Karbonn Titanium S5+ is good at first glance. It has qHD display along with 5 inch screen. It has 1.3GHz quad core processor along with 1GB RAM. It has 4GB internal memory and can be extended to 32GB through microSD. It comes with 8MP camera at the rear along with LED. This much camera gives perfect quality pictures. It also comes with VGA front camera but it doesn’t have good quality.

Design and Quality

The design of the smartphone is good having clean lines clearly visible with white front which is fully surrounded by faux chrome bezel. At the top of the display has earpiece along with it is the front camera along with proximity sensor. The slim bezel makes the smartphone much smaller than usual. The volume rocker is placed at the side and the power button is placed at the right side. Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack is placed at the top. The back of the phone is made up of plastic but it is so smooth that it may be very much easy to slipping. The speaker is placed at the bottom half of the phone.

OS and Tech

The phone is equipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean along with custom interface level. The OS is well enough to provide lag free performance. The sensor provided with the camera brings best quality pictures.

The 8MP camera is provided at the back of the phone, which is coupled with single LED. At many times the performance had created issues. The camera is focused quickly but time is taken extra between pressing the shutter and the taking of picture. Camera is not shake proof. The camera performance is good in light but in dark there is too much of noise induction in the pictures. Video recording is also possible with 1080p resolution capacity. Videos are saved in 3gp format but with quite heavy compression resulting in not much clearer videos.

Karbonn Titanium S5+ comes at good price for all the features it offers. The larger screen and best resolution capability is the best feature so far in the smartphone. Karbonn has to concentrate more for its camera features making it more appealing for multimedia and shake proof. Overall the performance of the phone is good for general use.
