Gionee S90 is a non-touch screen phone with alphanumeric keypad system. Handset color comes with only black and red. SIM type is dual-sim and also supports loudspeakers. SAR value of this phone at the head is 1.4W/Kg and in the body is 1.050 W/Kg.

Supports inbuilt apps like Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo. The 2.6 inch screen has 240*320 pixel QVGA resolution. Digital camera of 1.3 MP is present on the top back of the phone.

This phone also features video recording. The operating system is proprietary to Gionee Company. Supports memory expansion, Fm radio and GPRS, EDGE are also included.
Internal RAM is restricted to 8 MB only.

Design and Quality

The phone is 52.8*122*10.4 mm of dimensions, easily slips into a pocket and very handy when using. Comes with factory manufactured black and red in color.

The body is manufactured with ultra slim design.  The quality of this phone is good. The alphanumeric keypad is quite tight on the edges so dusts won’t get easily inside the phone. The keypad, on the other hand, is very flexible and smooth while pressing. Strong outer covers protect the phone while dropped from a height.

As of this phone is prepared by the company itself, no third party OS has been installed here.

Gionee S90 Supports only GSM quality networking. Internet features Email and pre-installed browser. An opera mini browser with WAP 2.0 is inbuilt in the phone.
Bluetooth and FM Radio are also present for data sharing and music streaming respectively.

Camera and Multimedia

The inbuilt camera is of 1.3 MP supporting a resolution of 1280*1024 pixels probably the best fit for a 320*240 pixel screen. The camera does not support zooming but fix focused.Sadly, there is no presence of any secondary camera on the top of the screen. Sensors are also not present.

Battery and Memory 

The Battery is quite large depending on the phone's specifications. Pre-installed battery has 1000 mAh juice to power it 3 to 4 days of moderate usage at ease. The battery is detachable from the phone.
The internal memory of this phone is limited to only 16 MB, excluding the inbuilt data and apps.

But due to its very low internal memory users are requested to install external memory card as soon as they purchase it. Excluding this topic the phone is good to go.
