Fly F451s Mobile Price in India
Fly has a decent range of smartphones which is available in the market. However, the company has been facing lots of competition and has failed to grab a decent market share and increase its sales. In an attempt to increase its volumes and offer an affordable smartphone, it has come up with the F451s. Like other budget smartphones, it comes with the basic Android experience and decent features when one considers the price it’s offered at.
Features and specifications
This stylish smartphone is mainly available in black color. It comes with 1GHZ processor and ensures an average performance. Coupled with 512MB RAM, it also comes fitted with two cameras. The dual SIM phone supports both 3G and 2G connectivity. There seems to be a clear indication that the company intends to offer a product which can stand long usage of an average smartphone user. Its 1800mAH battery offers just enough for the smartphone to survive a day’s use.
Design and quality
So far as the designing is concerned, this smartphone manages to have an average appearance. It’s definitely all plastic, but company has done a decent job to make it look premium. In the front panel of the phone it has a 4.5 inch capacitive QHD touchscreen with pixel resolutions of 960 x 540. A bit larger screen size would have been better for viewing photos and videos more prominently. The 3.5 inch earphone plug along is at the top beside the USB port. The volume rockers and the power button has been placed on the right side. Although, the backlight seems to be good while indoors, people could face a bit of a problem while using it in bright day light.
OS and Tech
Fly F451s runs on Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich supported by a 1GHZ dual core processor. Considering a mere 512MB RAM, the phone is not at all ideal for downloading high definition games and you will be unable to bear its occasional lagging if used aggressively. Multi-tasking can be a concern which is why we advise users to use it judiciously. Installing too many apps or running too many apps at a single time could leave you disappointed. However, while using it wisely, switching between apps might not be that a concern.
Camera and multimedia
The 8MP Primary camera of the smartphone comes with LED flash. Although, the capacity might seem to be good, the pictures captured come out low to be of low quality both indoors and outdoors. However, it comes with the option of auto-focus and digital zoom. The secondary camera of 2 MP allows you to make video calls with a sharp pixel resolution of 1600 x 1200. It supports video recording and plays videos in 3GP, MP4 and audio in formats like MP3. You can tune on to FM to have more musical amusement. Loudspeaker might seem to be underpowered but with the ear plugs you can surely expect decent sound quality.
Battery and memory
The smartphone is powered by a removable Li-Ion 1800mAh battery that supports extensive talktime of 7.5 hours and standby time of 263 hours which means you do not have to bother about regularly feeding the battery with surplus charge. This extensive talktime can be further reduced when you are using 3G network or long hours of calling and data usage. It facilitates the user to store data and files in the 4GB internal storage. However, for more usage, one can surely use the expandable memory space which could be extended up to 32GB.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
· Budget price
· Dual SIM
· 3G support
Cons:
· Poor resolution of the screen
· Apps are not updated
· Camera quality needs to be improved
Verdict
Fly F451s is quite ideal for the price sensitive users who do not have enough budgets to purchase costly smartphones but wish to flaunt a well-designed handset. If you are ready to buy for the sake of having a smartphone or you are a first time smartphone user, it could definitely be the one to go for. This smartphone with its affordable market price below Rs 5000 is no match for products like Intex Aqua 3G, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Z1 and so on with similar budget range.
