LG G Flex Mobile Price in India
This phone is not considered as a normal phone. This is the first ever flexible phone of the world. Though the curved screen is not new but the whole built and chassis is entirely new. The price is too expensive for this wonderful invention but this phone has to offer much more than the price invested in it. It has got a 6inch large curved screen along with 13MP back screen and many wonderful features which are packed in a single device. The future of LG G Flex is no doubt very bright.
Features and Specifications
This phone weighs 177g having curved display and body and the back panel has the self-healing capability. The capacitive touchscreen is larger in size about 6-inch having 16M colors along with multi-touch feature. The RAM is also large here of 2GB and the built in internal memory is also large of 32GB. The rear camera is 13MP along with many features like autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, Panorama, face detection etc. The front camera is 2.1MP with 1080p resolution. The OS run by this phone is Android v4.4 KitKat and 2.26GHz Quad-core processor. The battery is also awesome and its life is 3500mAh. The connectivity options are also vast like GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE, microUSB, and 2G/3G/4G.
Design and Quality
The curved screen of LG G Flex is the most stunning feature along with its largest size which has not been seen before and sits between the phablet and phone having features of both. The bezel is skinny all around the phone. The build material is plastic of high quality suitable to the bendy design of the phone. The back of the phone is glossy plastic which at times doesn’t give a perfect grip. So it requires care while handling it. The curved screen in first go appears odd to some people and they may think it is probably broken but it is a fact that this curvy screen has brought much of attention to the mobile. There is no physical key on the screen and on the edges. All of the phone buttons are placed behind under the back camera. So it is little hard to learn or get on with back keys. The power button and volume button can be easily reached with index finger once a person is used to it. The microUSB port and headphone jack are located at the bottom. The SIM tray can be found on left side. The phone doesn’t have any memory card slot as it already has huge built in memory. The self-healing back makes the scratches invisible.
OS and Tech
The phone runs a customized version of latest OS Android v4.4 KitKat but it’s still not different from standard KitKat interface though every element has been given key touch of LG. The phone does wonderful multitasking and the switching between apps is a fun here. The performance of the phone is also elevated with the most powerful 2.26GHz Quad core processor and 2GB RAM.
Camera and Multimedia
The camera has nothing new here. The rear camera is 13MP but lacks optical image stabilization which was a feature of LG G2. The camera is similar to the one provided in LG G2 expect for having square casing for the camera. Day time photography is speedy and takes good quality pictures. The performance of the autofocus and camera gets slower at night. Focusing gives little problem with the camera though. Photos are of good color quality. Camera also has low light mode option in order to take picture in low light without using flash light. Noise reducing process is also applicable but still the night photography carries noise. The video features are though very impressive and is comparable with the quality of any good brand video camera. The front camera is mediocre and the real lags in performance are observed.
Battery and Memory
The phone carries a large battery of 3500mAh. Battery life is strong and can last for two days under moderate use. In standby mode, the battery is retained in a nice manner. The 2GB RAM is large enough to keep the phone running at fast rate and the internal storage is also very large i.e. 32GB and this is the reason no further extension is provided for the memory.
Pros and Cons
For pros:
· Spectacular design
· Wonderful battery life
· Good processor
· Overall good technology
· Good quality daylight photos
For cons:
· Too expensive
· Little issues with screen issues
· Camera focus problems
Verdict
A huge price means this phone is not affordable to many of the mobile lovers. LG really had made an experiment with new technologies like curved and very large screen. The LG G flex actually is a success but a phone unreachable by many users may not gain much success so the price needs to be lowered down.
