With the advent of Karbonn A25+, they have proved that Karbonn can release a suitable smartphone for the low-budget segment. The Karbonn A25+ is a dual-SIM smartphone loaded with an Outdated Android v 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The smartphone offers a phablet sized screen size, i.e. 5 inch and captures the great essence of providing an amazing screen for such a low budget phone. The display supports an average ppi of 196 and a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Another important feature of the smartphone is dual-SIM facility with a mediocre camera. Features and Specifications

The Karbonn A25+ offers a lot of features in terms of hardware and software features. The smartphone offers the Android v 4.2 JellyBean, which is sadly outdated, but can perform well with the hardware provided. The smartphone is Dual-Sim and box contents are Battery, charger, USB cable, Earphone, Warranty Card and User Manual. The core of the smartphone is powered by a 1.3 Ghz Dual core processor coupled with 512 MB of memory.

Storage in this price range is also above average, offering 4 GB of internal memory which can be upgraded to 32 GB of external memory using microSD slot.

The display of the smartphone is 5 inch LCD at 196 ppi, offering a 480 x 854 pixels density. 

The camera feature is mediocre with the 5 MP main camera and 0.3 MP of the front camera. The camera is supported by LED flash and for creating good photos it supports digital zoom and auto focus. All the system is powered by a good battery of 1800 mAh Li-ion capacity. Connectivity is good too as it supports GPRS, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and more.

The design of Karbonn A25+ is above average; offering a capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch. Dimension wise the smartphone is slightly bulky with specifications of 146 x 78.6 x 10.5 mm. In the weight category, the smartphone weighs 150 grams. Currently, the smartphone is only available in white color. The power key is present on the right and the volume rocker key on the left. The smartphone design is curvy and offers good grip on the hands.

The operating system is one of the drawbacks of the smartphones. With lollipop, on the shelf, the current Android v 4.2 Jelly Bean is plain outdated. But, it still offers good functionality and features. 

On the Tech front, the smartphone offers mediocre hardware at this price range. There could also improve on the camera side. But, keeping the price, the features are justified too much extent.

Camera and Multimedia

The camera of Karbonn A25+ is poor. The main camera is only 5.0 MP with autofocus and digital zoom. The front camera is useless at 0.3 MP, but still users can take selfies. 

The Multimedia capacity of the smartphone is good. It supports FM Radio, loudspeakers, and 3.5 mm Audio Jack. The smartphone also plays all the major audio and video formats.

The battery of the smartphone is a 1800 mAh Li-On capacity, which offers a long-lasting time. For heavy users, the smartphone battery can be slightly less, but for light to medium users, the battery is more than enough.

The memory of the smartphone is good, offering a 4GB internal memory with an option to upgrade the total memory storage up to 32 GB using microSD slot.

The Karbonn A25 plus is a successor of Karbonn A25 and in many ways it succeeds in finding the front gate. At the price tag, the smartphone offers good capabilities with mediocre camera and battery. Other choices in this price range are  Karbonn A19, Karbonn Smart A26, and Micromax Bolt A068.

Karbonn A25 plus is a perfect choice for anyone who is looking for calling purposes with some out of the shelf features. They won't be disappointed with the Karbonn A25.
