Motorola Moto E Mobile Price in India
The new invention from Motorola in shape of Moto E is actually the tiny and cheap alternative of Moto G. this set is much affordable and has got decent features which are of high quality. The design concentrations have been given much importance in this smartphone. Though it may not be as highly appreciated as its predecessor Moto G, but it is slowly and gradually catching the eyes of mobile lovers. This can be considered as a decent launch from Motorola for the people who don’t want to compromise both on quality and price.
Features and Specifications
The screen of the device is 4.3-inch along with an LED notification for alerts. The processor providing power to the device is of 1.2GB dual core and 1GB of RAM. The weight of the phone is little more as it weighs 142g. Battery life is 1950mAh. The SIM size which it can accept is micro. OS here is Android v4.4.2 KitKat which can be upgraded to Android v4.4.4 KitKat and there is a plan to launch it with Android v5.0 Lollipop. The internal storage is 4GB which is obviously too less but this can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. The smartphone comes only with single rear camera of 5MP and there is no front camera available. The back is not supported with LED flash. Many connectivity options does it support like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB and GSM.
Design and Quality
The look of the phone is very simple without any extra catching attribute. The body is made up of plastic and the design is very normal though it is very comfortable while in hand. The edges are smoothly curved and the back provides a nice grip and gives a softer feel. The only design differ from Moto G is that Moto E has silver bars below and above the front screen. They are actually the speakers. This is a very smart way to incorporate front facing speakers in a phone. The company name is not written anywhere on the phone just a neat Motorola logo “M” is written on the back side. The screen of the set is of Gorilla Glass 3 which is a tough glass and is hardly found in cheaper handsets. The exterior of the phone is water resistant though the battery is not removable. The microSD card slot is available under the back cover.
OS and Tech
The Motorola is always committed to its software side and this time too it has provided a latest OS to this handset with a promise to upgrade it in its next release. Android v4.4.2 KitKat is much latest and performs wonderfully in the set and it is faster enough when it has to compare its predecessor Moto G in performance. By now no lags has been observed as it can be seen in most of the low prices sets.
Camera and Multimedia
A very basic and single camera has been incorporated in the set. It has only rear camera of 5MP with any flash light. So it cannot support any video call or selfies and the performance of the phone is also below average. The camera has only fixed focus feature rather than autofocus. So it is hard to lock the camera on any particular object of concentration, it requires just pointing at the object and quickly shoot. So the camera is not capable of taking close-up shots. The quality of images is though acceptable but still they are not of high quality and people having photography sense may not like this handset. Though in low light the quality gets more lower but Moto E has a feature to lower down the noise in the images thus we can though see noise in pictures but it is not a collection of grainy mess. It can also record videos but the problem remains the same with the videos as it is with the still images.
Battery and Memory
The battery life provided in Moto E is fairly nice and is 1980mAh. Though it is less than what had been provided in Moto G, but it doesn’t affect much as the screen in Moto E is also smaller than Moto G. the battery is capable enough to stand for a compete day and half under moderate use. The RAM has 1GB capacity which is considered better for a phone like Moto E but the internal storage is very less and is limited to 4GB though it can be expanded further up to 32GB but it is of no use as one can only add videos and songs in it rather than installing any app. All apps get installed to internal storage which allows limited apps installation.
Pros and Cons
For pros:
· Nice price
· Nice screen quality
· Excellent battery
· Memory extension
For cons:
· Zero performance camera
· Low internal storage
· Lack of front camera
Verdict
The Moto E is the cheapest phone available in the market. All the features are very mediocre here and the camera is the drastic failure in this set. One can easily add little more amount in the price this handset can be purchased and buy a better one as compare to this. Though the phone is overall not bad but it cannot justify every segment of its performance as well.
