Nokia X+ Dual SIM Mobile Price in India
There are users in India who still prefer non-smartphones. The reason being they are comfortable using the older phones and would not want to shift to something that is newer even though they might be better. And Nokia or Microsoft as I can say is trying to get the users of such kind of market to buy this phone of theirs. Though it lacks in technical specifications, it sure has a multitude of required features. This phone tends to be on the border of non-smartphones and smartphones and gives its users some taste of both.
Features and Specifications
The X+ is a medium sized 4 inch Dual SIM phone with both SIM having GSM support and 3G net connectivity. It runs the Nokia X Software Platform v1 OS which is similar to the older Java OS like the Symbian. This phone comes with a 3MP primary camera with a few pre-set features for different lighting conditions. It has an internal memory of 4 GB and a RAM of 768 MB, which is more than phones like the iBall Andi 4. It comes with an efficient and fast Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual core processor which clocks at 1 GHz speed. It is also accompanied by the Adreno 203 Graphics.
Design and Quality
This phone looks similar to the other Nokia Phones like the Lumia. It has the similar rectangular look which comes in a variety of bright colours: Cyan, Red, Black, White, Yellow and Green. The phone fits perfectly in the hand but the plastic body feels inferior quality. The volume Rockers and the power button are present on the right panel of the device. It has just one capacitive button at the bottom centre of the display and acts as the Back button.
OS and Tech
This phone comes with the older type of Java OS, the Nokia X Software Platform v1. This phone has java through the Java MIDP emulator. Since it is not a smartphone it cannot utilise the Apps market of Google or Microsoft. But it does have its own small market but lacks most of the popular games and apps. The display on this device has a 4 inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 400 X 800 pixels. There exist other features on the display such as Brightness Control, Wide Viewing Angle, Tactile Feedback, Screen Double Tap and Two-point Touch. This phone also comes with Nokia and Opera browsers preinstalled. It also has a multitude of sensors such as Proximity, Accelerometer, Orientation and Ambient Light sensors.
Camera and Multimedia
The camera on this phone is 3 MP. It is present on the back panel of the phone at the top centre. It does not have a Flash, which means that picoted taken in dim or low light conditions are of very poor quality. The quality of the images taken in broad day light too is below average. It lacks a secondary front camera for taking selfies or video chatting. Video can be recorded with the primary camera a Q HD quality, but the results will not be as good as videos taken with others phones in the same range. The X+ has support for various kinds of audio and video multimedia files like the FLAC, mp3 formats.
Battery and Memory
The Nokia X+ has a good battery for its size and uses. It houses a 1500 mAh battery which can give a talktime of 13 Hrs on 2G and a standby time of 408 hours which is pretty good. The memory on this device is 4 GB. But the user gets much lesser memory to store data and other apps. The external memory however, is expandable up to 32 GB. It has a RAM of 768 MB which is low but pretty decent when compared to its other features.

Verdict
In the point of view of a non-smartphone this is a very good phone which gives all kinds of features for the users. Even though the camera is not a good one, the other features can make this phone a good choice for many people to buy it However, from the perspective of the Android or Windows smartphone many exist in the same range like the Intex Aqua Y2 or the Vox Kick K7 series, yet provide better features and more options.
