Samsung Galaxy K Zoom Mobile Price in India
Samsung is a well known name in the industry of smartphones, tablets, laptops and many other consumer electronic goods. It has launched a new smartphone in the market and though it is quite expensive it offers latest sophisticated user friendly interface to the customers. Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is quite distinct from those belonging to the Galaxy series of the company.
Features and specifications
Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is a cool smartphone which arrives with a Super AMOLED HD display screen of 4.8 inch and maximum pixel resolutions of 720 x 1,280 and pixel density of 306 ppi with 16M colors. It runs on Android v 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and contains 2GB RAM to support the CPU. Inside the hood, it is powered by a powerful quad core processor of 1.3 GHz and dual core processor of 1.7 GHz. The display screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This smartphone draws our attention for its 20MP primary camera and the 2MP front facing camera. It gets its power from the removable Li-Ion battery of 2430 mAh that provides extended duration of talktime and standby time.
Design and Quality
The front portion of this phone appears similar to that of Galaxy S5 and while looking at certain curves it would remind us to that of Galaxy S4. While the effort of the firm in keeping the small size of the device can be appreciated, it is still chunky as per to the current standards and hence deserves more attention from the company. It is 16.6 mm thick in the middle portion and 20 mm thick towards the lens. It seems to be heavy and even if you get accustomed to its weight, its regular usage would be bit cumbersome and awkward. On the hardware front it misses extras like fingerprint sensor and waterproofing which are present in the S5 series of Samsung Galaxy. The material is grippy on the back and panel is thicker because of the curve in the back. Viewing angles and colors in the display screen is fine but you need to cope with slight oversaturation.
OS and tech
Samsung Galaxy K Zoom runs on Android v 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with the similar TouchWiz customizations that you have seen before. It is the similar experience that you can gain on using Galaxy S5 and the User Interface comes directly from the line of Galaxy S. Navigation is quite fast and smooth, while apps are opened instantly and the content can be loaded quickly because of 2GB RAM. The home screen featuring My Magazine displays social networking updates and news articles. With the help of Flipboard you can enjoy reading in a cleaner interface and can be shared directly with your friends without visiting any specific app. The area of notification has been completely transformed from the previous TouchWiz versions. You will find the much flatter and cleaner version of the operating system in the phone. The only problem is the fact that there are too many options present in the phone which range from Toolbox to Airplane Mood.
Camera and multi-media
This smartphone comprises of a primary camera of 20.7 MP whose size is ½.3 inch that you can also find in Xperia Z by Sony. From the perspective of the image qualityits camera is good but not so perfect when its competitors are considered. The optical image stabilization is quite perfect in this camera. Though it does not work well in low lighting conditions but that is the common issue with every Samsung phone. The front camera of 2MP is perfect for making video calls and occasional selfies. It supports audio and video recording in the standard formats.
Battery and memory
It is packed with a removable Li-Ion battery of 2430 mAh which doesn’t drain much power while you shoot photographs but while on an exhaustive use it losses out much power. This not expected from the smartphone of such stature but you could hope the battery life would be much improved in the next version. It comes with an internal memory of 8GB that can be extended to 64GB through the use of micro-SD card.
