Although Asus has updated the ZenFone in different ways over time to provide users with modern features, the ZenFone 4 still stands up to the tests of time. It may be cheaper than some feature phones on today's market, but the Asus ZenFone 4 will give users a modern smartphone experience.

The Asus ZenFone 4 comes with basic features, such as call and SMS memory. Phonebook memory is also included, as is Google Search. Users who purchase this phone with also receive 5 GB of Asus web storage for free. Email can be accessed through the operating system and the dual SIM design will serve some niche user needs that may exist.
Design and Quality:
The Asus ZenFone 4 has a TFT 4 inch touchscreen, but it is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 for a high level of scratch resistance. The resolution is just WVGA, however, or 480p, but there is 10 finger multi-touch support included. It's a bit thick for today's smartphone at 11.5 mm, but it is still lightweight at 115g. It will withstand a drop or two as long as it doesn't impact a hard surface face down.
OS and Tech:
Asus has featured the Jelly Bean operating system from Android on the ZenFone 4. Users have the option to upgrade the phone to the KitKat operating system if they prefer. The phone itself is driven by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom dual core processor that has Hyper Threading Technology so speeds can stay maximized. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also supported on this GPS equipped phone and mUSB connectivity is also supported.

The Asus Zenfone 4 offers a dual camera design, but the front facing camera is just 0.3 MP in resolution.
