MTS Blaze 4 Mobile Price in India
MTS India is the mobile telecom service brand of SSTL. It has evolved a lot since its launching in India in 2006 and has over 13 million customers. MTS Blaze has always kept fast internet browsing as their key feature. With this in mind, they have launched MTS Blaze 4.0 and that’s the device discussed below.
Features and Specifications:
MTS Blaze 4.0 is a dual SIM smartphone (GSM + CDMA) powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor. This phone is powered by a 3.2MP rear camera and a Jelly Bean Android Operating System.
Design and Quality:
This device has a screen size of 4.0 inch. The WVGA screen is a multi-touch sensitive touch screen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels with 262144 colors and TFT colors. The size of the screen is quite large to allow the user to enjoy movies and playing games. The resolution is though low as compared to other mobiles which provide HD resolution. As a result, the screen fails to provide you with every minute details and proper color definition of the display. The design of the phone is a smart sleek one with curved edges giving it a professional look. The rear camera is strategically placed at the center and speakers at the bottom on the back.
OS and Tech:
The operating system is the driving force for any device. This MTS Blaze 4.0 has the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This is quite an older version of Android as compared to other versions available in the market. The old Android version limits the number of options available in downloading new apps from PlayStore. This is supported by the 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor and a weak 512 MB RAM. Now again, the processor is not that great nor is the RAM that powerful. As a result, the device is slow and doesn’t allow user to swipe between apps very comfortably.
Camera and Multimedia:
Any user wants his smartphone to perform like a digital camera as well. The MTS Blaze 4.0 has a rear camera of 3.2MP with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It has digital zoom but no flash. This camera allows you to capture average photos in day light but it fails to capture images in night light. This device also does not have any secondary camera. So, there is no facility for video calling or capturing Selfies. This device supports all types of audio and video files and hence, provides you with a full dose of entertainment.
Battery and Memory:
The battery of this device is 1400mAh Li-ion type. The talk time is 240 minutes and the stand by time is 200 hours. Battery life is poor as compared to the usage one expects from his smartphone. This battery life is just for 2G, so one can imagine it would be lesser for 3G. The internal memory is 4GB and expandable up to 32GB. Now, if a person uses 3G and downloads lots of movies and songs, then this internal memory proves insufficient.
PROS & CONS:
PROS:
· Smart and attractive design.
· Average photos in day light.
· Reasonably placed money wise.
CONS:
· Poor RAM leading to a very slow device.
· Weak processor leading to hanging of the device.
· Less internal memory.
VERDICT:
MTS Blaze 4.0 is a device launched in the market for faster net browsing. It supports 2G and 3G on dual SIM supporting GSM and CDMA. The screen size of 4.0 inches proves quite adequate to gain entertainment but the resolution could have been improved up to that of HD screens. The Android also is an outdated version (Jelly Bean) and powered by a weak 1.2GHz dual core processor and a poor 512 MB RAM. All these reasons lead to a very slow device and frequent hang up of the mobile while multi-tasking. The 3.2MP rear camera allows average snaps in day light but fails completely in low light photography. The internal memory is 4GB which also proves inadequate. The price of the mobile is around 4,000/-INR which is very low as compared to other smartphones but, the features too are very less. So, you can prefer Micromax X455 or iBall Andi 4P IPS GEM with much better features and almost same price.
