Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT Mobile Price in India
Samsung Mobiles is among the pioneers to bring the smartphones to masses, they are well known to bring out smartphones at a competitive price and thus their phones are within reach most of the consumers. But over the years Samsung has taken a beating in India with the introduction of local companies like Micromax, Karbonn etc. But when it comes to quality of usage Samsung excels over any cheap alternative. Same is the case with Galaxy Ace NXT, Samsung stuck to it’s no nonsense attitude and went for quality over quantity. Though one might imagine that in the same price range other phones are available with superior features but it is Samsung that makes sure that when it comes to optimizing the phones comfort in usage Galaxy Ace NXT is exceptional.
Features and Specifications:
The Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT is fitted with a sizeable 4inch TFT touchscreen but sadly the phone doesn’t support multi-touch input. The screen resolution is 480x800 pixels with 223 pixels per inch is not a bad display at all. The phone is available in single sim and dual sim variants which provide 3G connectivity. The processor of the phone is a 1.2 GHz Cortex A7, though it must not be forgotten that in the same price a lot of manufacturers offer dual cores and even quad cores. The internal memory of the phone measures in at 4GB with 512MB of ram. Ace NXT has a 3.15 megapixel primary camera and VGA secondary camera. When it comes to sensors the phone only has an accelerometer and that’s it.
Design and Quality:
When it comes to looks the Samsung Galaxy Ace has that trademark Samsung look and just at glance anyone can tell that it’s a Samsung. 59.6% of the body is covered by the screen which has two touch sensitive navigation keys and a hard button for the home screen. Though the phone just an entry level smartphone from Samsung it doesn’t show any lack of quality in the finishing of the phone. The back side of the phone is quite elegant with a lot of empty space and the camera, flash and the speaker slits at the top of the phone while the Samsung is written at the bottom of the phone. The back cover doesn’t feel flimsy and is finished quite well and the phone is available in two color white and black. The power button is on the right hand side of the phone while the volume rocker is the left side with the 3.5mm audio jack up on the topside of the phone.
OS and Technology:
The phones running Android V4.4.2 KitKat which as we all are aware is quite a customizable UI. The phone can give swift multitasking though sometimes the lack of RAM and processor speed brings in lag during switching of apps or is a lot of apps are running in the background.
Camera and Multimedia:
As discussed before the Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT has 3.15 megapixels camera with flash and the secondary camera is tiny VGA sensor, though not one of the best camera phones in the price range but still it is able to take decent photographs with flash. The phone also lacks the ability to record good quality videos shooting only in VGA quality whereas the camera the feature of Geo-Tagging.
Battery and Memory:
Even though the battery of the phone is rated in at 1500 mAh and phones with more power are available in the same price range but Samsungs battery timing is quite good offering up to 8hrs of talk time which if translated into normal daily usage can run you through your day completely. The phone is able to attain this battery life by avoiding the urge of having many gimmicks as features which drain the battery of the phone. On the memory forefront the phone has 4GB of Rom and 51MB ram and the Micro SD card slot can hold up to 32GBs. Thus giving you ample space for all your data and apps though the phone might not be able to run heavy games smoothly.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
· Affordable price
· Nice finish
· Dual Sim capability
· Good battery life
Cons:
· Slow processor
· Dull display
· Camera not exceptional
The Verdict:
All in all the Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT is a nice budget phone to come from Samsung but sadly it’s not the best budget phone out there in the market. Phones like Lava’s iris series and XOLO A1010 give a lot for almost the same amount of money. But if one is looking for a phone built to last then Samsung is definitely worth the money.
