Karbonn A40 Mobile Price List in India

Karbonn launched a new titanium A40 smartphone. The phone is another entry level phone from Karbonn.  The phone features are very high considering its price. Karbonn is trying to hold a key position in the smartphone market like Micromax. The phone from karbonn implies the same. Features and Specifications

Karbonn A40 is a decent entry level phone. The phone features a 5 inch capacitive touch display with dual SIM, both GSM. The phone battery is a 1700 mAh which has enough juice to run your day. The phone is based on 1.2 GHz dual core processor coupled with 512MB RAM. The internal storage of phone is 4 GB expandable via micro SD card up to 32 GB. The phone runs on a customizable UI based on Android v4.4.2 (Kit Kat) which is quiet latest version of Android. Android Kit Kat is very smooth and crisp. Doing multitasking in it was breeze. The primary rear camera is a 5MP shooter with flash support. There is secondary VGA camera also available. The phone has IPS graded display which offers smooth and crisp. So features are great considering the price.

Design and Quality

The phone is very well built. It is available in White Gold variant. The phone is having curved borders with metallic brushing. Besides it phone is made of cheap plastic quality. The front of camera is wholly glass with narrow bezels. The back is made of plastic with textures which offers a nice grip. Overall design is well considering the price range. The phone power button and volume rockers are both available on left hand side. The charging port and 3.5 mm headphone jack are both located at top and bottom of device giving phone a hectic feedback. The phone has a branding of karbonn at the back. Overall we are impressed with device design and quality.

OS and Tech

The phone OS is Android v4.4.2 kit Kat which is somewhat latest version of it. The kit Kat performs smoothly under heavy usage also. So, doing multi-tasking was easy. The device is fluid and responsive because of 1.2 GHz dual core processor coupled with 512MB RAM. Overall phone struggled but still it managed to response quickly.

Camera and Multimedia

The camera of phone is a 5MP rear shooter which captures photos with just a click. The front shooter is a VGA camera. But it doesn't perform as smooth as rear shooter. But, back camera is a nicely built it capture some great shots giving user a nice feedback. In multimedia the phone can play all video and audio formats that are universal. So, in camera and multimedia we didn't notice any lag. So, we are impressed with its performance.

Battery and Memory

The phone is having a 1700 mAh battery which offers great juice in it.  The phone can run your day easily with its battery but you got to charge it every day otherwise it'll run out of juice the next day. In storage department phone is having a 4GB internal storage. Although user usable is much less but you can use additional micro SD card for storing your documents. Its supports micro SD card up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot.

Pros and Cons

For Pros:

For Cons:

·         Slow processor and RAM.

·         Less Storage.

·         Low battery backup.

Verdict

The device impressed with its price and features. Although it does struggle sometime but seeming its pricing that can be neglected. Overall it's a nice phone with aggressive pricing. If you're low on budget you can choose this phone otherwise go for any other phone. In our opinion the phone is a decent phone considering its price.
