Features and Specifications:
The 5" IPS QHD display of the Canvas Beat provides the user with a screen resolution of 960 x 540, and a 16.7 m color depth. At 150g, it can be considered an averagely weighted smartphone. This dual sim phone is powered by the Android v4.2 (jellybean), clocked at 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and an expandable ROM of 4 GB. The main camera of this phone comes LED flash and autofocus, and is of an impressive 8 MP with HD video recording and playback. The front camera, of 2 MP, is perfect for taking every day selfies or for using them for Snapchat or video calling. Other connectivity options this phone has to offer are GPRS, Edge, 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB connectivity, and an audio jack of 3.55 mm. This phone comes with accelerometer and proximity sensors. The additional basic features of this phone are alarm, calendar, calculator, world clock, and games. Design and Quality:
TheMicromax Canvas Beat has a screen of 5" IPS display, with three main navigation buttons in the front which get lit while the phone remains in use. The top front has the phone call speaker and the front camera. This handset has quite curvy edges. It has a rear of glossy finish, with the camera on the top and the flash right beneath it. A little below that is the impeccable fist logo that is the trademark of Micromax mobiles, and the speaker grill located at the bottom of the backside. The volume rocker is located to the left of the phone, and thepower/unlock button to the right. The top of the phone consists of the audio jack and USB port. This candy bar form handset is available in two colors - white, and black.
OS and Tech:
This dual sim (GSM + GSM) phone is both 2g and 3g enabled. Running on Android v4.2 (Jellybean), it is clocked at 1.2 GHz quad core processor, permitting the users to install and use basic smartphone applications. The quad core processor, however, allows these applications to be run faster than they would through a dual core processor.
