The Celkon A500 is a Dual (GSM + GSM) SIM phone with a 5.00 inch display released in August 2014. The processor is Dual core Cortex A-7 running at 1.3GHz. The processor make is MediaTek MT6572M. The device packs a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.  The primary camera is 5 mega pixels and secondary camera is 0.3 mega pixels. Except for the camera, the phone has great features available at a low price. Other features are in built accelerometer and proximity sensors. The phone is also fit with a Mali-400 Graphics Processing Unit.

Design and Quality:

The phone has a 5 inch screen which makes it great for watching videos and playing games. The screen is capacitive touchscreen and has a resolution if 480x854. The pixel density is 196ppi and could have been better. The phone is available in black and white.The phone’s design is quite good. The slightly curved corners might remind you of Samsung but the touch buttons at the bottom are quite different. The dimensions of the phone are 141.30 x 72.50 x 9.90 and it weighs 147 grams.

Overall, the phone is quite decent in the battery and memory department.

If we look at the features, pros and cons, it is obvious that the phone is good for people who want a phone for multimedia and games since it has a good battery life and a huge screen. The phone is far from ideal for people who love to take pictures because of the low camera quality. The Lenovo A536 has similar specifications and pricing so do not forget to check that out too.
