It is a Dual SIM phone and comes only in black color. The phone is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-core processor as phones having Octa-core processors are seen very rarely in market. The OS it operates on is Android v4.4 KitKat which is latest and supports all Android apps efficiently. The display is fairly large of 4.7-inch with capacitive touchscreen technology providing 720x1280p resolution. The phone comes with two cameras. The back camera is 8MP and the front camera is 5MP with LED flash. The batter is of 2010mAh Li-ion and the internal storage is 8GB along with 1GB RAM. Though the camera performance has been improved from its previous versions but still it gives problems in focusing close objects. Other technologies added to camera software include white balance along with few other shooting modes including panorama, smile shot, HDR and scene detection. Daylight photography or video recording gives nice quality but it is a real pain while shooting in dark even some of the daylight pictures turned out blurry. Video quality is nice and provides good color saturation. The video captures sound in much similar to original manner so the camera does impressively well in multimedia.

With 2010mAh Li-ion battery, Micromax claims to provide 180hrs of standby time. Even the phone battery works well under moderate use and gives full day of mobile use. But it also comes with power saving modes which reduce the battery power under different circumstances like making the screen brightness to low and few others. The RAM of the phone is 1GB which seems less and it gives its 100 percent performance and the internal storage is 8GB extendible up to 32GB. Memory is enough for storing majority of Android apps.

The build quality of the phone is solid along with crispy display. The features and specifications are also impressive at affordable price. But the much advanced features and specifications can be obtained by spending few more pennies on other phones. Due to lack of perfect or even acceptable camera performance and battery life, this phone may not be able to beat others in the market.
