XOLO Q510s Mobile Price in India
There are plenty of smartphones out there that give you better features and there are plenty phone out there that aren’t expensive, but a few are out there that give you better features at a low price. XOLO Mobiles are well known for a fact that they have been giving smartphones in the market that give a good value for your money. Same is the case with the XOLO Q510s, this smartphone is powered by quad core processor and 1 GB ram at a very low price and when it comes to value for money this phone can give Samsung a pretty good beating.
Features and Specifications:
The phone comes loaded with a 4 inch capacitive IPS touch screen and a 480x650 pixel resolution it isn’t the best display out there in the market but when you consider that the phone is just an entry level smartphone, this screen makes a lot of sense. The XOLO Q510 is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor and a Mali 400 GPU, the ram is of the phone 1 GB and rom is 8 GB which can be extended to 32 GB via micro SD card slot. The smart phone comes with a 5 five megapixel camera at back and a VGA camera upfront and the primary camera can record in Full HD 1080p. The phone comes box standard with dual sim and can run on 2 G and 3 G network whereas it also supports Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity via Micro USB port.
Design and Layout:
The Xolo Q510 is a pretty sizeable phone, when you look at it from the front you notice the 4.0inch touch screen with capacitive keys underneath. It must be mentioned here that there is too much empty space above and below the screen, this has two effects firstly it has made the phone larger than it already is and secondly it gives the effect visually that the phone has a small screen even though it’s a 4 inch screen. The sides of the phone have a metallic finish on them and the volume rocker is on the left side and the power button is placed on the right hand side of the phone, while the top side of the phone houses the micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack. The cover of the phone though it is plastic, it holds up nicely and fits properly giving the phone a solid feel. The camera and led flash are on the top right corner of the back side and XOLO logo is spotted in the middle of the cover. The phone is available in five colors, black, golden, blue and grey all of which are available only in metallic finish.
OS and Tech:
Xolo Q510 is powered by the android V4.4.2 KitKat and UI is pretty much a stock layout from Google and no extra add-ons are given by the company. But one advantage of this is that Xolo hasn’t slowed the OS down and the phone performs pretty well when it comes to multitasking.
Camera and Multimedia:
The primary of this smartphone is fixed focus 5 megapixel camera with face detection, smile detection and geotagging and the secondary of the phone is a VGA sensor. The picture quality of the phone is tad bit disappointing with noise in almost every picture and sometimes pictures aren’t even in focus due to fixed focus. Same is the case with video recording even though the phone can record full HD videos the quality of the videos is a bit shaky and doesn’t provide a clear video. On the other hand the screen of the phone is quite good for the price range giving decent viewing angles and the screen is quite vivid and saturation is also quite good.
Battery and Memory:
Xolo Q510s is powered by a 1500 mAh battery which is quite small even small for this price range, but somehow the phone is able to give ample amount of talk time even over 3 G (up to 7hrs). On a daily routine this phone is able to give you a battery backup of around a complete day of normal usage with phone calls and games etc. The phone has 8 GB internal storage for apps and our data which if not enough can be expanded with the aid of the micro USB card slot to 32 GB.
Pros and Cons:
For pros:
· Good build quality
· Affordable price
· Quad-Core Processor
For Cons:
· Huge size
· Not the best camera
· Lack of 4 G connectivity
The Verdict:
The Xolo Q510 did try to give a good fight for its features and price, but it did lack some attention to detail when it came to its camera usability though Redmi and other Android devices in the same price range offer much better picture quality. But when it comes to a solid build quality this phone wins in that with its metallic finished sides and the properly fixing back cover, but this doesn’t cover up the huge size and the not so good camera performance.
