The phone comes with large screen of 5.5-inch having 1440x2560p resolution. The IPS LCD technology is used for the capacitive touchscreen providing 16M colors. The OS it operates on is Android v4.3 which is not much advanced but works fine with the other features of the phone. Design and Quality

The front of the phone is Gorilla Glass 3 and it supports three different capacitive touch screen buttons for Menu, Back and Home. In comparison to the size of the phone, the buttons feels very small in size and they are much dim and hardly seen. The top of the phone holds 3.5mm headset jack while at the bottom there resides the microUSB port and the primary mic. At the top of the screen is the 5MP front facing camera along with speaker grills and sensors. The notification LED is below the screen which is a unique feature in this phone. The notification LED glows when some notification comes in which makes it unique in front of other smartphone. The power button is located at the left and the volume rocker is placed at the right along with a micro SIM card-extracting hole. On the back of the phone is a 13MP rear camera and speaker grill at the bottom back of the phone along with the Oppo logo just below the back camera. Though the look of the phone is much angular even then it gives a premium feel and a firm grip. The design is of good quality and Oppo has paid considerable attention towards it.

The OS it operates on is a bit old i.e. Android v4.3 along with the company’s own colorOS on top of it. The working mechanism of the OS is very much similar to all other Android smartphone in the market. But since it is old enough, some may feel performance lags while handling it.

The rear camera of the phone has been given much capacitance to give quality pictures and videos. It comes with Super Zoom option allowing 50MP images with the rear sensor. But this may not happen always as the phone needs to take about a dozen pictures to get one 50MP image. But in general the camera gives good quality pictures and the pictures are really bright and sharp. But the responsiveness of the camera may be disappointing. With editing options, proper shots can be taken which is good about this phone. The video quality is equally better enough to inspire people. The front camera does well in video chats.

The phone has few interesting features which may distinguish it from rest of the phones in market. But majority of the features are mediocre enough especially the OS is old which may bring performance lags while handling the set. The overall performance of the phone is satisfactory besides seeing camera unresponsiveness and lagging in use.
