Celkon Millennium Glory Q5 Mobile Price in India
The Celkon Millennium Glory Q5 was released by Celkon in September 2014. For those who are not too familiar with Celkon, it is an Indian mobile phone manufacturer with headquarters in Hyderabad. It is considered the sixth largest Indian mobile manufacturing company. Whether Celkon will move up this list and become a household name is yet to be seen. Let us take a look at yet another model by Celkon called the Millennium Glory Q5.
Features & Specifications:
The Celkon Millennium Glory Q5 is a Dual SIM phone with a 5 inch display and a 1.3GHz quad core processor. The phone belongs to the lower price range and might be a good option if you have a slightly lower budget. The phone has the Android Kitkat 4.4.2 Operating System. The RAM is pretty decent at 1GB and the camera is 5MP with flash.
Design and Quality:
The device has a 5 inch display with a QHD IPS OGS Touchscreen display. The resolution is 540x960 pixels. The large screen is great for watching movies and playing games. The phone has been designed well and has a sleek and smart look. The phone is available in White, Silver and Grey. The dimensions are 144.7x72.1x7.4 mm and it weighs 156g.
OS and Tech:
The phone runs on an Android 4.4.2 Operating System (Kitkat). Java support is enabled. The phone boasts of a quad core processor running at a speed of1.3 GHz. The RAM is 1GB which is good enough for a phone of this price. Both the SIM slots are regular GSM type. Another phone with similar specs in terms of display, price and processor is the Huawei Honor Holly with a slightly better screen resolution.
Camera and Multimedia:
The phone has a 5 MP primary camera and a 1.3 MP secondary camera. The primary camera has a flash but the secondary camera does not, as is the case with almost all smart phones. The phone quality is not that great which is expected since the primary camera is just 5 MP. The headphone jack is 3.5mm which is pretty much the standard for all phones right now. The phone also has provision for tuning into the FM radio. The phone does not have a Graphics Processing Unit which is nota desirable feature if you wish to use this phone for gaming purposes.
Battery and Memory:
The phone packs a Li-Ion battery of capacity of 1800mAh which is quite decent. The battery might seem slightly insufficient if you bring the screen size into the equation because naturally a larger screen size would need more power. The phone has an 8GB internal memory and a secondary storage which is expandable up to 32GB. The RAM is 1GB which is pretty much the expected standard everywhere. Phones with similar battery and memory specifications are Acer Liquid Z410 and Lenovo A536.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
· 5 inch QHD IPS OGS Touchscreen display
· Low price
Cons:
· Battery could have been better (1800 mAh)
· Primary camera only 5 MP
· No Graphics Processing Unit
Verdict:
This phone is great for you if you are comfortable with an ordinary camera but give more importance to a bigger screen and a decent RAM and processor. The features are good in spite of the low price. The phone would not be the first choice for gamers because of the absent Graphics Processing Unit. Other phones with similar features are Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo (higher price range as compared to Glory Q5) and Gionee Pioneer P6. Don’t forget to check these out too!
