Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra Mobile Price in India
India based Karbonn Mobiles have launched an entry level smartphone, Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra. This smartphone is not very expansive and has multitude of awesome features. Here we are going to share with you, the detailed specifications and review of this smartphone.
Features and Specifications
This smartphone’s dimensions are 144 x 72 x 9 mm (5.67 x 2.83 x 0.35 in). With dimensions like these, it fits nicely in your pocket; just make sure not to sit on it as the lightness of this phone at 200 grams makes it highly unrecommendable as your substitute chair, though it really helps with the “make it light-as-possible” department. The dual SIM card is handy for those who have contacts on other network service providers.
Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra comes with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports 16 M colors. The size of the display is 5 inches with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. With a 66.5% screen to body ratio, you can be sure that most of the important electronics are housed in and protected from most accidental falls. The Multi touch aspect allows you to use all of your fingers whenever you’re busy multi-tasking, another great feature.
Of course most of the other qualities come standard for your basic modern day smartphone but is it really enough? The documents viewer and audio player allow for perusing of various files of different platforms. It should save you the pesky method of having to change it into various formats before you get to use said files. Bluetooth, GPS, Radio and a small USB port come standard for most of your mundane tasks.
Design and Quality
The usual black, blue and white are stock colours for this phone, however it gets a bad rap for having a plastic back that seems to crack at the slightest pressure. The housing seems to be optimized for the camera function which we’ll touch on later.
OS and Tech
This smartphone is based on Android Operating system. This affordable phone supports the tried and tested Jelly Bean OS known for its simplicity and ease of use. It even sports a powerful Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5, perfect for multi-tasking and getting rid of that awful lag.
Camera and Multimedia
And now to this phone’s best asset, the camera! At a whopping 8 MP and a 3264 x 2448 pixel dimension, this phone captures the finest details in most of your everyday selfies and pictorials. The secondary camera at 2 MP leaves too much to be desired but at least you know which end to use! The sound is pretty average for this kind of phone, so if you’re not into listening into it all day with your playlist, look for a dedicated Mp3 player.
Battery and Memory
Titanium S5 Ultrahas a pretty good expandable memory bank at 32 GB. It means only one thing, more space for backup files! But one wonders what exactly you want to store in your phone. It also has an internal memory set at 4 GB tops, decent 1 GB RAM for all your processing needs and a battery life at 200 hours for the 2G and 3G set ups.
Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Very good Camera in the price range
2. Light at 200 grams
3. Dual SIM capability
Cons
1. Average Audio
2. Plastic Back Cover
Verdict
All in all it’s a pretty decent smartphone. Good camera and a dual SIM capability are two great features it has. There are better models out there that can do all this and more, but since we’re on a budget, this one is one for the money!
