Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Mobile Price in India
Huawei has been quite active in launching new devices throughout the past year. The predecessor of Mate 7 which is the Ascend Mate 2 was released little time before the Mate 7. Huawei has actually geared up to give full competition to well-known brands like Samsung, Apple and HTC. Phablets are getting very high profile business these days. Many brands are dealing with phablets like Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Apple iPhone 6 Plus and this recent one Huawei Ascend Mate 7. Comparing it with its own predecessor Mate 2, this one is relatively having smaller screen as it measure 6-inch with a full HD resolution but 6-inch is still not smaller one while the Mate 2 was 6.1inch.
Features and Specifications
The handset is quite heavy weighing 185g supporting Dual SIMs while the size of the SIM should be micro/nano. The screen is large of 6-inch with 16M colors and using IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen technology supporting multi-touch along with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The OS it is run on is Android v4.4.2 KitKat supported by 1.8GHz quad-core processor. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB, and GSM.
Design and Quality
Huawei has worked a lot on the quality of its products over the past many years. It is made up of aluminum unibody similar to HTC One M8. Though the side of the phone is large and heavy but Huawei has supported many features to let it be easily handled with single hand like the volume rocker and the power button is located at the right side of the device so reaching them with single finger is easy. The length of the device is 157mm which is larger than 153.5mm Samsung Galaxy Note 4. There are no traces of any bezel around the 6-inch screen. The corners of the handset are nicely curved besides having back of the phone curved as well in order to make it rest comfortable in hand. The space above and below the larger screen is minimum but enough to support the front facing camera and speaker above while the Huawei logo below the screen. There is little issue with the sound of the set. It has only one speaker in front and a speaker grill at the back of the phone rather than employing dual speakers in front as done by HTC One Max. So the back grill can be easily covered by hand while holding the phone and this may stop the proper sound. At the top of the handset is 3.5mm headset jack while at the bottom is microUSB charging outlet. Towards the left side is the microSD card slot and micro/nano SIM slot. MicroSD card slot can also be used to insert another SIM thus making the device dual SIM. Unlike Samsung Note all series, Huawei has not added any stylus to be used with this set and all functionalities are to be done with fingers.
OS and Tech
This handset is supported by a latest OS which is Android v4.4.2 KitKat and with the help of efficient processor and good of RAM 2GB/3GB, the performance of the device becomes exclusive. It provides excellent level of multitasking and the use of the handset becomes fun while playing games of watching videos on full HD screen.
Camera and Multimedia
The device has a very good camera. The performance of the camera in any mode like Panorama, HDR, autofocus or any is perfectly wonderful. There has not been observed any single disturbance of any kind in still images or videos recorded by it. The front facing camera also performs its job wonderfully and has good use of beauty slider like enlarging of eyes and smoothing of skin while talking on Skype or video conferencing. Overall the camera department in the handset is a success.
Battery and Memory
The Mate 7 is loaded with 4100mAh battery which is not removable. The larger the battery the more strongly it drops and the same happens with Mate 7. Under heavy use with full screen brightness and internet connectivity, the battery dropped to 91% in just 90 minutes. But under moderate use, this supports well the full day use of the mobile even with full brightness of the screen. The device also provides some energy saving techniques. It takes quite longer hours to get the battery recharged completely. The RAM here is extraordinary depending on the size of built-in memory, it comes in 2/3GB range if the internal memory is 16/32GB respectively. Both of which can be expanded further up to 128GB.
