Intex Aqua Style Mini Mobile Price List in India

Intex Mobiles, the company that is well aware of how to give maximum value for your money. The company is known for their minimalistic approach for making smartphones and their smartphones cost much less than their competitors. The Intex Aqua Style Mini is one prime example of this, the phone is an entry level smartphone from Intex. Is it good enough to keep the company’s reputation of innovative design, quality and user experience at a low price?

Features and Specifications:

The Intex Aqua Style Mini has 4inch TFT touchscreen, the screen resolution is 360x640 pixels. The display is alright and in bright sunlight the display does seem to suffer and the viewing angles aren’t as good as you can expect from the competitors. The phone has 1.0 GHz dual core processor and the ram of the phone is 512 MB, so don’t expect high performance figures from this phone but since it is an entry level smartphone, the phone seems to work fine for the price range. The phones ROM is about 4 GB and the micro SD card slot can house a card of up to 32 GB which can be ample enough for all your data, apps, pictures and videos. This isn’t the best camera phone present in the market, the primary camera is a 5 megapixels camera whereas the secondary camera is a tiny little VGA sensor. The battery of the phone is a 1400 mAh battery and it supports dual sim but rather sadly no 3 G connectivity. The connectivity options that are available includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and micro USB connectivity.

Design and Quality:

When it comes to designing an entry level smart phone most of the manufacturers try to cover up the price tag in a cool body and try making the phone more appealing to the eye like the Celkon A42 prom. But Style Aqua Mini isn’t the best looking phone, it is available only in two colors white and black. Looking from the front you see a typical android layout with the capacitive touch sensitive buttons under the 4inch touchscreen. Right above the screen we have the earpiece and on the right of that you can spot the secondary VGA camera. Onto to the left of the phone we the micro USB port and the power button bellow it, the volume rocker is placed on the left the side of the phone. Going towards the backside there is nothing innovative about the back side rather it’s a matte finish back cover and the camera, LED and the monogram all are inline of each other. There are no exposed speaker slits on the back of the phone.

OS and Tech:

The phones comes pre loaded with the older version of android KitKat, but by no means is it out dated as yet because most of the smartphones out there in the market do come with this OS box standard but some of them are giving out updates for this and Intex mobiles hasn’t given any news on the software update. The UI is also standard google UI with minor customizations.

Camera and Multimedia:

Bear in mind that this phone doesn’t have the best camera, the picture quality isn’t very good and in low light the camera seems to struggle way too much, even with the LED flash the pictures are dark and have noise in them. The display is also no better with a resolution this low you won’t be watching any blockbusters on this screen.

Battery and Memory:

The phone has a 1400 mAh battery which the company claims to give a battery backup for up to 5 hours of talk time which if translated into average daily use, you’ll have to charge it for a while in the evening if you want to use this phone through a daily routine. Hence another minus for Intex. The internal storage of the phone is 4 GB and it can be expanded to 32 GB.

Verdict:

The Intex Aqua Style Mini is a phone for those people who have just want to make or receive calls on their smartphone and maybe once in while send or receive an email. All in all it’s a good phone if you want to stay connected with everyone but it isn’t the best phone if you want to make more use of your phone. The phone that is recommended here is Celkon Pro, it costs the same, looks better and gives better functionality.
