HTC Desire 510 Mobile Price in India
HTC Desire 510 is the latest release from the Taiwanese company HTC to extend its mid-range and budget sensitive phone range Desire. According to the company, this is the cheapest every LTE capable handset the company has ever developed. Though it is not much cheap, but it is 4G enabled handset available in the market. The price for it is same as it has been for Moto G 4G but it is though cheaper than OnePlus One’s. But the promise of the company to offer fastest 4G connectivity in good price range is no doubt a tempting offer.
Features and Specifications
The handset weighs 158g and the SIM size it accepts it micro SIM. The display is large enough offering 4.7inch screen with capacitive touchscreen feature and 16M colors along with multi-touch feature. The OS it supports is Android v4.4.2 KitKat which is quite a latest OS and the processor that gives it power is 1.2GHz quad-core. The RAM is 1GB and the internal built-in memory is 8GB which is expandable further to make it 128GB using microSD card. The rear camera in it is of 5MP with LED light and features like geo tagging and few others while the front camera is basic VGA. The battery in it is 2100mAh and the connectivity features included are Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB, Bluetooth, GSM and 4G.
Design and Quality
Though Desire 510 has 139.9 x 69.8 x 9.99mm dimensions but it comfortable sits in hand. The set has rounded edges and the design looks very much similar to Desire 610 except that here the front camera is located on the top-left corner of the device but in Desire 610 case, it is on top-right hand corner. The design is more elegant than Desire 500. It is not made up of blushed aluminum as it has been in the case of HTC One M8 as in Desire 510 case, the body is made up of plastic for being a budget sensitive phone but due to its improved design, it doesn’t look like a cheap handset in first impression and may look expensive handset. The screen has been reduced in size here as compared to Desire 610 and this makes it look sleeker and less bulky. The power button is located at the top of the set along with 3.5mm headset jack and the volume rockers towards the right hand side. The back of the devices is little curved and is made up of polycarbonate giving little cheap feel to the device but it is not bad for a price sensitive handset. This device comes in two colors which are Terra White and the Meridian Grey.
OS and Tech
The OS installed on this device is Android v4.4.2 KitKat which is quite latest and powerful OS. The user interface of the HTC devices is very popular among its users for being very user friendly, simple and colorful as compared to those of Sony Xperia and Samsung TouchWiz. The OS gives a perfect and flawless performance to the device with efficient multitasking and switching among apps is absolutely very quick.
Camera and Multimedia
The front facing camera is rudimentary 0.3MP which is very common for a budget sensitive phone. But the quality of the front camera is not very tempting. The back camera is 5MP. There are budget sensitive handsets which are providing good rear camera like Huawei Ascend G6 which offers 8MP rear camera. But it is sad to say that the camera performance of Desire 510 is not very good as the pictures taken by it lack the real clarity and sharpness. The close up shots gets worse than the distant shots. The camera is capable of recording videos of 1080pi resolution and the qualities of videos are better than the still images.
Battery and Memory
The HTC Desire 510 is equipped with removable battery having capacity 2100mAh which is little higher than Desire 610. The features offered by this handset are also available in Motorola Moto G 4G on roughly at the same price range but it has lower battery life which is non-removable than this one and in performance too Moto G falls short of Desire 510. This much battery life gives good boost to the device along with multiple energy saving features also available in the set. It can easily provide 17hours of talk time and 646hours of standby time. The RAM here is 1GB but the internal storage is marvelous and is 8GB which can also be expanded further up to 128GB with the help of microSD card and this is again a plus point of this device.
Pros and Cons
For Pros:
· Fast OS
· Low cost for 4G
· Excellent battery life
For cons:
· Screen is not fantastic
· Poor camera
· Limited RAM
Verdict
Fastest 4G offer for cheap price is a nice and tempting offer but HTC Desire 510 may not be that much desirable as there are good handsets at the same price range with far better specifications and performance already available in the market especially better in camera and screen department.
