Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Mobile Price in India
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a mid-range Android device having 4-inch screen and the feel it gives is very much similar to Motorola Moto G but it is rather more expensive than the Moto G and has lesser impressive specifications than the Moto G. but it supports 4G which is missing in Moto G. if someone wants a 4G device under affordable price, then Galaxy Ace 3 is a perfect choice. Being more on the budget side, this device has something more to offer to its users which are yet to be explored in this article but the tough competition it is giving to some big names include Nokia Lumia 625 and HTC Desire 500.
Features and Specifications
Galaxy Ace 3 is a lighter device weighing 115g for the 3G and 119.5 for the 4G. The display is using TFT Capacitive touchscreen technology offering 16M colors along with multi-touch feature. The OS it provides is Android v4.2 jelly Beans and the processor is of 1GHz dual-core of 3G and 1.2GHz dual-core for 4G. The RAM is 1GB and the built-in storage is 4GB for the 3G and 8GB for the 4G with the extension for both up to 32GB using the microSD card. The back camera is of 5MP with LED light and features like autofocus, geo tagging, panorama, HDR, face/smile detection. The battery is 1500mAh for 3G and 1800mAh for 4G Li-ion. The connectivity features included in both versions include Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth, microUSB, 3G/4G and GSM. The front facing camera is 0.3MP and the back one is 5MP with LED light and auto focus feature.
Design and Quality
The design of Samsung galaxy Ace 3 is similar to Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini. The body is made up of similar glossy plastic as seen in Galaxy S4 and S4 mini along with metal band and thin bezel towards the downside of the screen. The power button is located at the bottom of the screen along with the three navigation keys and the chrome speaker is located at the top of the screen along with the front facing camera, microphone and the sensors. The back of the device can be removed and there is found a removable battery; microSD card and SIM card slots. At the back is the small speaker, the rear camera and the LED flash. Since the weight is 120g approx. This makes it lighter to Moto G which is 143g. It is also slimmer than Moto G but the back of the phone gives slippery feel and is prone to be dropped from the hands. But it can be comfortably held in one hand and gets fit perfectly in pocket. The cheap plastic used in its built is acceptable for the price this device is being offered at.
OS and Tech
The device runs Android v4.2.2 Jelly Beans along with the customized UI of the company. This OS though is not very latest but it works fine with this device and there is no upgrade expected for the KitKat. The UI is very user friendly and the performance of the phone is smooth with the support of the RAM and the processor. There is quite handsome amount of multitasking being observed in it.
Camera and Multimedia
The back camera is 5MP with LED light and auto focus feature as found in its predecessor Ace 2. The front camera is 0.3MP and works for the selfies but the quality if very grainy. The quality of images is not comparable to those of Moto G and Sony Xperia where the colors of the photos are very bright. But the quality of photos here are even not very bad. Far shots generate better quality images but noise can be observed in them. Without the use of automatic stabilization and autofocus, the images are too blurry. The video recording can also be done with it and the videos turn out to be of better quality than the still images. Under low light, the performance of the LED light is commendable but the pictures do contain noise in them
Battery and Memory
The 1500-1800mAh battery is provided here for 3G and 4G handset respectively. Apparently this much battery seems quite enough but on the actually note, this much battery may not be able to stand the whole day even under the moderate use of the device. User needs to recharge it quite often. The RAM is 1GB and 1.5GB for 3G and 4G respectively which is quite enough for mid-range device along with limited internal storage but the good part is that memory extension is provided.
Pros and Con
For pros:
· Good design
· Vibrant screen
· Affordable price
· 4G connectivity
For cons:
· Old OS
· Average Camera
· Slow processor
· Limited memory
Verdict
Among the mid-range device, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is rather better that comes with a large screen and 4 G connectivity in very affordable price. Though there are some negatives attached with this set and those are on part of the built material, slow processor, and old OS but the overall performance of the device is very much comparable to some of the good names already in market like Moto G.
