Motorola Moto 360 Mobile Price in India
The Motorola Moto 360 is the first in the range of around smart watches launched by the Android Wear brand released late last year to wide acclaim owing to its sleek, designer looks and a plethora of other useful functions. For a few square inches of glass and leather strapped to a wrist, this watch certainly is very impressive. It ventures into Smartphone territory, from the newest internet search tools to the most recent weather patterns, even going so far as to monitor health! To make it short and sweet, it does much, much more than just tells what time it is.
Features and Specifications
This revolutionary watch is powered by Android Wear version 3 TI OMAP, the present standard OS in Android Wear right now, but an upgrade is expected very soon. The watch behaves uncannily like a full-fledged Smartphone with all the best technical features. The person wearing the watch will now enjoy the privilege of having features like satellite navigation, music, health tips, news, and updates literally at his or her fingertips. Google Now, a personal assistant search tool, displays all of one’s business and personal updates and notifications. These updated can be accessed by simply sliding the finger over the chamfered glass from the bottom up. Google Now also allows for seamlessly smooth transitions from one application to another and little to no time lapses. The fabulous GPS utilizes Google Now app to navigate the wearer or his car with clear, precise instructions at every bend in the road. Motorola Moto 360 constitutes a health app called Moto Body that comes with a pedometer and a stopwatch to measure one’s pulse rate. The charging is by Qi magnetic induction on a small charging console. This is a major breakthrough in charge conservation and power saving.
Design and Quality
This instrument is the very embodiment of pure perfection. The watch weighs around 49 gm and has a 1.56” big round dial made of chamfered Gorilla Glass that looks glossy and gleaming lit up from the back. The rims are polished to a shine and come in a choice of black, steely silver or pale gold color, the band being either metal or leather. The device makes the best of both worlds –class and durability. It also employs an ‘ambient light’ option that causes the backlight to be turned down to save power during prolonged periods of unused. It turns back on once lifted or moved in any other way. The one little flaw in the plan is the thin band of black crowding the bottom and marring its perfection by a few degrees.
OS and Tech
The Moto 360 runs on 3 TI OMAP, but an upgrade has been predicted by tech gurus the loyal followers of Android Wear. The data services include WAP and GPRS, and Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to other handheld devices. It supports voice recognition that follows orders, be it creating texts or checking the weather. There are quite a number of built-in apps including Moto Connect for selecting custom watch faces and also protecting against loss or theft.
Camera and Multimedia
The display is 320x290 in resolution and supports MMS, but being a watch, there is no provision of camera or video capture. It carries a music app for playing songs. Music can be downloaded through an USB port or bought from the built-in Google Play app. There is a large selection of ringtones. The wonderful voice app responds to one’s voice makes it easier to take down notes or surf the net.
Battery and Storage
The lithium-ion battery is powered at 320 mAH and provides around 3-4 hours of battery life, which is quite low. There is 4 GB of memory allotted for housing songs, notes, and text messages. The charging is of wireless Qi magnetic induction and is good on saving power.
Pros:
· Flawless design
· OS is Android Wear
· Responds to voice commands
· Pre-loaded apps including Google Now and Moto Connect
· Allows SMS, MMS, navigation, and note-taking
Cons:
· No camera
· Unflattering black slice crowding bottom of the dial
Verdict
The makers of Motorola Moto 360 have outdone themselves in terms of look and feel of the watch. The Motorola Moto 360 integrates all the good features of an android into a beautiful, classic timepiece. The price may be a bit too steep for some, but it is definitely worth every penny. Huawei watch and Apple watch directly falls into direct rivalry with this perfect piece.
