LG F60 Mobile Price in India
The LG Optimus series is a progression of smartphones and Tablets manufactured by LG. Optimus is a smartphone sub-brand of LG, known for producing both Android and Windows based smartphones. The Optimus series, originally launched in 2010 has, since then launched many sub series following the ever changing technology trends. LG Optimus F is also an Android sub-series launched in order to expand its Solid 4G LTE presence to the mass audience. The recently launched F60 is another device in the company’s mid-range endeavour for an LTE presence.
Features and Specifications
LG F60 is a Dual SIM handset and has a screen size of 4.5 inches. The IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen offers a vivid 16M color Resolution with a decent 207 ppi pixel density. The Phone comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which has become the common OS these days for Android handsets. The device is powered by a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A-53, which is a decent processor in the mid-ranger and has 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory with the smartphone is just 4 GB but has a MicroSD card support of 32 GB. The primary rear camera is a 5 MP shooter with an LED Flash. The F60, being a watered down version of the last year’s flagship, G3 has some of its interesting features and tweaks. The camera has features like Gesture Shoot, Touch and shoot, Panorama and HDR. The secondary camera is a VGA camera and the image quality is not impressive where other mid-rangers provide impressive and unique selfie cam. The battery life is an impressive 2100 mAh which lasts through the day even when stressed.
Design and Quality
The device is available in two colors- White and Black, both of which give the phone a unique yet natural look. The phone has a slightly curved design at the back and has the speaker grill at the rear bottom. The power button is on the right side while the volume control is present on the left side of the phone. Being a 4.5 inch smartphone, it fits perfectly in the palms of the hand and one handed operations are a breeze. Moreover, it is the build quality of the phone which is impressive.
OS and Tech
Packed with the relatively new OS version, Android 4.4.2 OS ensures fast multi-tasking and fluid performance of the phone. Having some tweaks of the original G3 makes the LG F60, interesting as well. Knock Code, which lets users make about 86,000 different ways to secure their phone among others. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor in the phone comes with an Adreno 306 GPU, enhancing output and gaming capabilities of the phone without supposing lags.
Camera and Multimedia
The camera is where the device seems to lag behind its other mid-range companions. With the market going more competitive as we see more of smartphones offering high pixel shooters at the same price, makes the fight tough for the phone. The 5 MP rear shooter is actually pretty decent and takes impressive pictures in daylight. Features like Gesture shoot, Touch and shoot only add to impress. Front Camera or the Selfie Camera, as it is called these days, is a VGA so pictures are not up to the mark and appear hazy at times. But the phone makes up for it big time-having LTE support makes lightning fast downloads and streaming possible, so watching movies and surfing is a breeze.
Battery and Memory
The battery of the smartphone is also pretty impressive. For a day long use, the battery holds well, even when stressed. But performances may vary when using the LTE extensively over longer periods of time. The 1GB of RAM is okay, considering the pricing of the phone, but the internal memory provided is 4 GB which may be a bit less if one intends to store large apps and games but a 32 GB MicroSD expansion is possible to help with storage needs.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
• 4G LTE support
• WVGA in-cell display
• Great build Quality
• Good battery
• Impressive rear Camera
Cons:
• No HD screen
• Poor front camera
• Less Internal storage
Verdict
The Smartphone is priced in the competitive range where there are other devices like Moto G2, Asus ZenFone 5 and Micromax Yu Yureka which provide better specifications than this phone for similar prices. The 4G LTE feature, although commendable is not quite feasible in growing countries like India, where LTE is not accessible in all parts of the country. But the smartphone as a whole is well built and a good buy for people looking for a smartphone which is a nice combo of sophisticated features.
