Intex Aqua Power Mobile Price in India
Since several months various phone manufactures have been trying harder and harder to come up with the slimmest and most attractive looking phone. It seems like Intex is finally paying heed to the woes of the smart phone users! Here comes a device with what might be the most needed feature right now: A long battery life. Yes this phone comes with a whooping 4000mAh battery. In exchange it does cut down on some other must-have features but let us take a look.
Features & Specifications:
The over the top amazing battery is not the only selling point of this phone. The other equally strong feature is its Octa-core processor. It works at 1.4GHz and has a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The Graphics processor is Mali 450 MP4. It also comes with a 5.00 inch display with a capacitive touchscreen.
Design and Quality:
The display has a disappointing resolution of 480x854 to go with its 5.00 inch display and the negative effect on the quality of the display can be easily seen. Thanks to its powerful battery and Octa-core processor, the Intex Aqua Power is bulky and loud. It won’t exactly be the slimmest phone, you have ever seen. The volume buttons are to the left and the Power button is to the right. The thick phone has golden bands to the sides which do not necessarily add any aesthetic or functional value. If you were a fan of the old thick Nokia phones, this one might just be the one for you! The phone is available in 4 colors: White, Black, Blue and Grey.
OS and Tech:
The phone is equipped with an Android 4.4.2 operating system with Java support. The phone supports expandable memory of up to 32GB and has an internal memory of 8GB. The 1GB RAM could have been better. The phone is suitable for everyday use but might not be the best option for heavy usage with constant multi-tasking.
Camera and Multimedia:
The phone has an 8 Mega Pixel Primary camera with LED flash and a 2 Mega Pixel front camera. The picture quality is not that great and leaves much to be desired. This phone is definitely not suitable for people who rely on their smart phone cameras for all their pictures. The sound quality is ordinary and there is noticeable distortion.
Battery and Memory:
Back to the best feature of the phone: The device is armed with a 4000mAh battery that will keep the show running after taking just 3 hours to get fully charged. The device has 8GB of internal memory and a 1GB RAM. The phone has an expandable memory of 32GB which is decent for a mid-priced phone. The phone is quite responsive and there is almost no lag when switching between applications.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
· Great battery capacity
· 32GB expandable memory with 8GB internal memory
· Octa-core processor
Cons:
· Resolution is only 480x854
· Phone is bulky
Verdict:
The phone comes with an excellent battery life and an Octa-core processor which is great and also very useful. The phone has some major drawbacks like the bulky size and the poor resolution. Intex has attempted to correct this in their next model, the Intex Aqua Power HD which comes with an HD IPS Full lamination display. Good move by Intex but this does not change the fact that the device in question, the Aqua Power is not meant for an audience that gives importance to sleek and high resolution quality experience. Overall, the phone is good value for money for someone who is always on the go and relies on a phone with a good battery life.
