Design and Quality

At the bottom of the screen is the three touchscreen buttons which adds to its beauty. The back cover is made up of polycarbonate material. The buttons and ports are located on left side and on top of the device. The back cover is wear resistant and fingerprints proof. Under the back cover are the microSD card slot, dual SIMs slots, and removable battery. Towards the top left corner of phone’s back is the rear camera, the LED flash and a mic. The lower back has the dazzling speakers which are considered as the selling-point of this device as it generates most delightful sound effects which one can ever experience on any mid-range smartphone.

OS and Tech

The phone carries Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS which is quite a latest OS and keeps the device quite fast and easy to do multitasking. There is no issue with the OS but normally users are not happy with the built-in theme the device has been provided with. Above the OS there is Vibe UI which is also based on Android v4.4 and this has been quite a mature OS now.

Camera and Multimedia

The interface to camera is very simple here. Under sunlight, the colors analyzing power of the camera is very nice and day light photos are also quite attractive. The shutter and the focus of the camera are quite quick capable of capturing even the minute details under good light. The effect of still images is very wonderful but the night vision is not very good. Under dim light, the focus is not that perfect. The video recording with the back camera is also very easy and the quality of the videos is also very much impressive especially when they run on the screen. The front camera though is 2MP but it works nice for the selfies and the video calls giving very much clarity.

Battery and Memory

The 2300 mAh battery is not a surprise at all as this is very much common in mid-range devices so something more was expected from the company but this is even capable enough to last for whole day but under heavy use, this would require recharging once or twice in 24hrs. The RAM may be either 1/2GB depending on the specifications of the device. Both the RAM powers are good enough to keep the device running fast. The 16GB internal storage is even not bad but can be easily extended up to 32GB which is a bonus.

Lenovo K3 is an intuitive invention from Lenovo due to having wonderful features at very affordable price. This device will sure inspire users. Lenovo this time has really knocked off Xiaomi Honor and many others as the design has not been copied here.
