Vivo X5 Max

Vivo X5 Max Mobile Price in India
A popular Chinese company Vivo launched its new device naming X5 Max which is the slimmest smartphone in the world as per claims of the company. The Indian markets are offering great opportunities to foreign smartphone manufacturers and this is the reason, Chinese company is availing this opportunity and launching its new device in the Indian market. This new device is quite affordable and produces best value for the money though initially other devices of this company were not very much durable as opposed to the claims of the company. This device also is equipped with decent features.
Features and Specifications
This is a dual SIM device which accepts both nano and micro SIMs. The screen of it is 5.5-inch of type Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that offers 16M colors. The resolution of the screen is 1080x1920p offering multi-touch as well. OS is Android v4.4 KitKat and the processor is 1.7GHz Quad-core. RAM is 2GB and the built-in memory is 16GB and further can be expanded using microSD card up to 128GB. The primary camera is 13MP with the support of an LED light and has many features like touch focus, autofocus, geo tagging, face detection, panorama, and HDR. The front camera is 5MP for the video calls and selfies. Battery is non-removable 2300mAh Li-ion and the connectivity options are microUSB, TBC, A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and GSM/LTE.
Design and Quality
Chinese companies are struggling to manufacture thinnest smartphone like Gionee, Vivo and Oppo but as seen in iPhone 6 Plus, which is another slimmest phone and is quite flexible. The build of this device is very good and the metal and aluminum are used in its build. The weight of this device is 146g. It has glass towards the front and the frame is of metal while the back is also of metal having plastic towards bottom and top. The look of the device is very premium and solid. It measure 4.75mm and 3.98mm making it the slimmest device and this is the first thing noted when someone picks this device. It has the slimmest speaker, slimmest display and the slimmest motherboard. The screen of the device is very great providing great viewing angles.
OS and Tech
It has been loaded with Android KitKat OS and a decent support from the RAM and the processor, the performance of the device is not bad but it would have been improved much if Lollipop OS would be integrated in it. There is enough quick multitasking already provided by the current OS.
Camera and Multimedia
The interface of the camera is easy to be used and understand having separate video recording and shutter buttons. Under daylight, the pictures seem clearer and descriptive but under low light, there is quite lot of noise and creepiness in the pictures which is clearly observed and the details of the pictures also get less. Camera need to be held fixed in order to avoid shakiness in the videos and images. Overall the quality of images is good. The videos recorded by it are also of presentable quality but observes shakiness due to hand shaking. The front camera is perfect for the selfies and the video conferencing and produces quality results.
Batter and Memory
The battery provided to it is non-removable and looking at other specifications of the device, this much battery is not enough. Under light or moderate use, this battery may last for about half a day but under heavy use or 3G use, this would require frequent charging which is though not a good symbol. The RAM is good here while the internal 16GB storage is also decent along with decent expansion to the memory up to 128GB.
Pros and Cons
For Pros:
· Decent design
· Slimmest phone
· Decent camera
· Latest OS
· Expandable memory
For Cons:
· Poor battery
· Expensive device
Verdict
This is not at all a bad device. Its distinguishing feature is its audio quality which can hardly be matched with any other smartphone. Camera here is quite decent as compared to other mid-range devices. It is no doubt the slimmest handset in the world by now but looking at its performance, then this device is not very inspiring as its performance is similar to all other mid-range devices in the market like Yu Yureka and Moto G who are less costly than this device.
