This device is quite heavy that weights 173g supporting dual SIM. The screen of the device is quite large which is 6-inch made up of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports 16M colors along with offering multi-touch facility. The back of this handset has the rear camera with an LED light while the top of the handset has a 3.5mm headset audio jack. The bottom side of the device has the loudspeaker the microUSB port. The top of the screen has the front facing camera, the sensor and the speaker while the bottom of the screen has the three navigation touchscreen keys. The back plastic of this handset provides good grip to the device and the plastic is of good quality. The device is available in white and black colors.

OS and Tech

The OS here is also latest one and thus provides good performance of the device. This helps in good amount of multitasking and smooth running of all the features but there could be little support from the RAM as it is only 1GB while the device is quite huge and little lag in performance can be observed at times.

Camera and Multimedia

The camera of the device is not very strong but it is not at all failure completely. It works nicely producing nice pictures but they lack real depth and originality and the pictures are little grainy and noisy too. Especially the night time or low light photography is completely nil in this device but day light or under good light, the performance of the camera is quite acceptable. It is also capable of recording videos which run nicely on the large screen. The front camera is also not very strong but works well for the selfies and the video calls.

Battery and Memory

3500mAh battery provides about 240hrs of standby time and 14hrs of talk time as per the claims of the company. The battery is not bad and is capable enough to keep the phone running for the whole day. There are some energy reservation modes available to the large screen which can also help in preserving memory allowing the battery to go for more than a whole day. The RAM is very limited but since this is a mid-range device and normally mid-range devices have 1GB of RAM but considering the huge size, the RAM should have been little upgraded. The internal storage is also less as people would not accept this handset for 7GB storage but 32GB expansion would do some favor to this handset.

Verdict

The design and size of the screen for this device has been inspired from the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 as well as the Huawei Honor 6 Plus. The device is having better features than other mid-range device Sony Xperia C3 Dual. Little issues are there with this handset but for being mid-range those are acceptable. Having 6inch screen means full theater enjoyment of videos and games at the expense of low RAM which sometimes may show slow performance.
