Motorola Moto Maxx
Motorola Moto Maxx Mobile Price in India
Recently, Motorola launched Moto Maxx in an event in Sao Paulo which is also known as the international version of Droid Turbo. Motorola wants to dominate the market in all the segments as we see they launched Moto E for the low budget segment, Moto G and Moto G2 for the mid segment and now they are targeting the high end segment with smartphones like Moto X2 and Motorola Moto Maxx. This smartphone is priced approximate Rs. 45,000, which is very high compared to other Motorola models. But with the killer specifications of this Smartphone it is pretty sure to do justice of your money.
Features and Specifications:
Motorola Moto Maxx has a huge OLED capacitive touchscreen with 5.2 inches screen. Moto Maxx supports the 2K display with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 565 ppi and to protect this massive display, they have provided the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Moto Maxx is powered by 2.7 Quad-core CPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor which is one of the most powerful processor. Moto Maxx comes with 64GB of mammoth storage and 3 GB of RAM. To make sure you get the most of your money Moto Maxx comes with 21 MP primary camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash. Well the only place you can criticize this Smartphone is when it comes to Front camera, the front camera of this smartphone is of 2MP. Now I will further explain every aspects of Moto Maxx in details.
Design and Quality:
The design of Moto Maxx is one of the major reasons to buy it. Moto Maxx weights 176g and has the design almost similar to Moto G, Moto G2 with a mind-blowing textured background. Textured background gives Moto Maxx a unique look and also helps in the grip. Moto Maxx is a Dust and Water resistance Smartphone with Gorilla Glass 3 which gives it a way more protection than it needs. The camera is located at the top center with a classic Motorola logo just below it. The lock and the volume button are located at the right side of the Smartphone.
OS and Tech:
Moto Maxx supports the 4.4.4 Kitkat Android version which may be the major reason why people will think twice before buying it because everyone wants to try out the latest lollipop update. Although it is pretty sure that Moto Maxx will receive a Lollipop soon. The smartphone is loaded with 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and 3 GB RAM. With high specification like this, waiting for Lollipop Update is no big deal. Everything on Moto Maxx works flawlessly and gives you the best mobile experience.
Camera and Multimedia:
The camera of Moto Maxx is one of the best cameras for smartphone. It supports 21 MP with Auto focus and Dual-LED flash. It supports various features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR to maximize the quality of camera. Capturing pictures at low light won’t be any problem on this smartphone. It supports 2K video which is 2160p videos at 24fps and slow-mo 720p ones at 60fps. The Front camera is what I feel lacks in the term of quality as it has only 2 MP where as a normal smartphone less than 20K also gives 5 MP secondary camera.
Battery and Memory:
Most of the times, Smartphone manufacturers’ gives a bunk of specifications but the battery is what they miss out but not in Moto Maxx. It has a monster battery backup of 3900 mAh (YES, you heard it right. 3900mAh). Moto Maxx easily lasts a day and a half on average use and lasts more than half a day with a vigorous usage. In addition, Motorola has been focusing its efforts on charging speed: they can charge up to 6 hours of use in only 15 minutes, thanks to the Motorola Turbo Charger. Talking about memory, Moto Maxx comes with 64 GB in-built storage which is obviously more than enough so they did not add a support to external SD card.
PROs and CONs:
Pros
· Outstanding design
· Water and Dust resistance
· Monster Battery Backup
· Powerful Processor
· 21MP camera
Cons
· Not the latest OS
· Non satisfying Secondary camera
· Expensive
Verdict:
Moto Maxx is a powerful competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 4, LG G3, and HTC M8 as they are all with almost same specifications and same price range. Moto Maxx has a benefit when it comes to Camera lovers and someone looking for a huge battery backup. But it would the last preference for people who need a Selfie Phone and even more storage than 64 GB. Overall this is a great smartphone with a beautiful texture and design and doesn’t miss out on any specification.
