Oppo Mirror 3 Mobile Price in India
Oppo Electronics Corp. is a technology company based out of China. They manufacture a string of products from mp3 players to eBooks as well as Smartphones. They have recently begun expanding their operations into other Asian countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia and India. Specialising in mid-range smartphones, the Oppo Mirror 3 has been released with this aim in mind. This puts it in direct competition with Motorola Moto G and the HTC Desire 510.
Features & Specifications
Oppo Mobile is a Chinese based company, primarily concerned with the mid-range smartphone market in Asia. The latest offering from Oppo is the Mirror 3, offering advanced imaging technologies and gorgeous, sleek design.
Design and Quality
The Mirror 3 has a largish screen, at 4.7 inches with resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels, giving it pixels per inch of 312. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1GB of RAM. There is built-in storage of 8GB with the ability to extend this, using a microSD card, to 128GB. The Mirror 3 sports front and rear facing cameras, with the front facing camera having 5MPs and the rear facing camera having 8 MPs, along with a flash. The battery has a capacity of 2000mAh, and supports dual Sims. As well as this, it also has a host of connectivity options like; Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, GSM and 3G. The OS is Android 4.4 Kit Kat, with a Color OS 2.0.1.
Design and Quality
The look and feel of the phone is very nice. It is 137.00 x 68.00 x 8.90 in dimensions and weighs in at 126g. The front of the phone is flat having three buttons at the bottom of the screen for back, home and menu. The microUSB charging port is located on the bottom of the phone. The volume rocker and lock screen button are located on the left side of the phone and the 3.5mm audio jack is located on the top.
OS and Tech
This device runs Android 4.4 Kit Kat with a new Color OS 2.0 skin, designed by Oppo. This is a great OS, with lots of customisation abilities. The skin changes allow for lots of extra features, such as the remote control for all your smart devices, which can pair with your TV and show you information on the schedule etc.
Camera and Multimedia
The Oppo Mirror 3 has two cameras. The front facing camera has a resolution of 5MPs which is fairly good. The rear facing camera has an 8MP camera along with an LED flash, not quite as good as some other phones on the market, but for a mid-range phone, this is still quite good. The phone comes equipped with a range of multimedia functions, such as FM radio, games, video player, photo viewer and editor, Java and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Battery and Memory
The Oppo Mirror 3 has a 2000mAh battery. This is a decent sized battery that under relatively light use, should last between a day and a day and a half. If the phone were to undergo heavy use, due to the size of the screen, battery life is more likely to last 8-10 hours. The Mirror 3 comes with 8GB of memory built in to the phone. This internal storage can be further extended by the addition of a microSD card, up to a size of 128GB, more than enough room for your movies, games and music.
Pros and Cons
For Pros:
· Good design
· Decent processor
· Good value for money
For Cons:
· Rear facing camera could be better
· Can only achieve 720p
Verdict
Overall, the Oppo Mirror 3 is a very good phone for its price. Oppo have a proven track record of delivering good value for money in the mid-tier smartphone market, and this is another example of this. While the Color OS skin does have some interesting additional features that KitKat does not, I would prefer to be able to get the Smartphone without the skin.
