This device comes in different colors. The screen is beautifully diamond shaped made up of sapphire crystal. The screen of the device comes in two different technologies either sapphire crystal or the corning gorilla glass. The sapphire crystal version is expensive than the corning gorilla glass version. The designs of both the versions are very similar to Sony Xperia Omni Balance. Though it is not a clone of Xperia but the design has been inspired by the Xperia. Towards the back top is the 13MP camera with an LED flash. At the base of the camera is the company logo along with the certification marks towards the bottom. Towards the bottom of the front screen are the three capacitive touchscreen navigation buttons. But these buttons are not supported by back light. So operating them during dark would be little deceptive but during the day it, they have a reflective layers over them which avoid any problems using them. The two SIM cards supported by the device include one micro and the other nano SIM. Towards the bottom of the handset is the dual stereo speaker as well as a microUSB port. For the good reception of the radio, two plastic infusions are provided on both sides. The camera at the back is not protruding and if the device is lit up under sunlight, it generates beautiful diamond shaped blinking effect which looks nice to the eyes. The white color version of the handset doesn’t support fingerprint/smudges but the blue/violet versions are highly prone to fingerprints/smudges.

Verdict
The Oppo R1C is a nice upper mid-range device. It doesn’t come up with typical flagship specifications but still it has powerful features which are going to be appreciated by the users. The expansion to the storage is huge which is another point that could be used as its selling-point. Though the battery life is not excellent but it is good for a device very thin.
