Features and Specifications

This handset is featuring a large screen of 5-inch made up of IPS capacitive touchscreen technology providing 16M colors. The processor is 1.3GHz Quad-core with 1GB RAM. The internal built-in storage is 8GB which can be easily expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. The back camera is 5MP having LED light and features like autofocus while the front camera is 2MP to be used for the selfies and the video conferencing. The OS which is provided to it is Android v4.4.4 KitKat while the battery is 1900mAh. There are nice collections of connectivity options available in it like microUSB, Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, and FM radio. This is a dual SIM handset.

Design and Quality

The design of the handset is quite decent and looks very attractive though it is very simple. The back of the device is plastic while front is all glass. The edges of the device are nicely curved. At the top of the screen is the front facing camera, sensors and speaker while at the bottom of the screen is the three navigation touchscreen keys. The back of the phone has the back camera underneath it is the LED flash, the company logo while at the bottom of the back is the main speaker. Towards the right hand side are the power button and the volume rocker while there is no button at the left hand side. The top carries the 3.5mm headset jack.

OS and Tech

Even being a mid-range device, the latest version of Android OS has been provided to it which is no doubt a sense of innovation from the company. The desire to make a mid-range device working as smooth as a high-end device is clearly visible through this handset. The KitKat OS works nice at this handset with the full support of the processor which is though not very powerful but give a good support to the multitasking in this handset.

Camera and Multimedia

Normally there are not much expectations from mid-range devices in terms of camera functionality and the same is also true in this handset. The 5MP primary camera is just ok though it gives acceptable and presentable shots in day light. The night time performance of the camera gets worst and quite ample amount of noise is observed in them. The videos recorded by it are also not bad which runs smoothly on the 5inch screen. The front camera is better than what has been provided in the LG G Flex2 and works better for the selfies.

Battery and Memory

Battery life is decent in this handset and keeps the phone running for the whole day which is a success as mostly handsets are even not capable to keep their phone running for 24hrs. The credit goes to the mid-range specifications as well. 1GB RAM is also moderate for mid-range devices and the internal 8GB memory may not work for few users but the 32GB of the extension would definitely excite them.

This handset is not bad and works decent for having very decent specifications. This phone gives good competition to many good devices like Microsoft Lumia 535 and Intex Aqua i14. The performance of the phone as similar to all mid-range devices and there is not much expectation attached to it. The price is normally a matter of concern for most of the users and they prefer to buy devices which are price conscious in order to reduce extra burden on their budgets. This phone will be an ease for them as it is very much affordable having decent features which are required in any smartphone. Little extra efforts are needed in its camera as camera is an important aspect of any phone after screen. The screen in this handset is not bad but the camera is little jerky and the company needs to work on it in order to make it more acceptable.
