This device is quite lighter with the weight 134g and supports dual SIM. The screen size is 5-inch large made out of IPS capacitive touchscreen technology with 16M colors. It also supports multi-touch feature. The very latest OS is being supported by it in shape of Android v5.0.1 Lollipop with the support of 1.7GHz Quad-core processor. The RAM is huge 2GB while the internal built-in storage is 16GB which can be expanded further up to 64GB with the support of microSD card. The primary camera on rear side is 13MP with a single LED light having many features like face detection, touch focus, autofocus, and geo tagging and it is also capable of recording video at 1080p. The front camera is 5MP used for selfies and the video calls. The battery is 2400 Li-ion which is non-removable while different connectivity features like Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS, FM radio and GSM/LTE.

Design and Quality

The design of the Blade S6 is a copy of iPhone 6. It has rounded corners and a tapered display. The sides and back of the device are made up of silver painted plastic which makes it slippery and very unpleasant when in hand. The volume rocker and the power button are placed at the right hand side. At the bottom of the large screen is the three navigation keys which are weird to use. A prominent circular home key is available at the bottom of the screen which is another copy of iPhone but pressing this button doesn’t wake this device up. This button has a double blue circle which gives out a very cheap look. The screen of the phone though is very nice and is quite sharp for most of the tasks. It produces clear and nice picture.

OS and Tech

The latest OS Android v5.0.1 Lollipop has been added in this handset which will be received as a surprise by its users. The processor is also of good speed providing good support to the OS thus there is a smooth functioning of the device. The RAM also helps in quick multitasking.

Camera and Multimedia

The camera is a feature which is never compromise don by the ZTE. The 13MP rear camera is capable enough to take decent pics under good lighting producing good colors. But the pictures under low light or indoor shots are little fuzzy but it was expected from a mid-range device. But overall the camera is not bad. The video recorded by it is also decent and looks nice on the large screen. The front camera is also capable of getting good selfies and video calls.

Battery and Memory

2400mAh battery is providing enough stamina to the phone. This is enough for a one whole day use. The battery capacity of the phone is equal to that of Honor 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5. The only drawback is that battery is non-removable. The RAM is 2GB which is also good for mid-range devices while the internal storage is 16GB which is also impressive while the expansion to it is 64GB.

This is the thin smartphone version which has decent features and specifications. Though the latest OS has been provided to it but it is integrated into a very cheap and bad design which is a complete copy of iPhone 6. This device is good for only those have no concern with the external flaws of the handset and concentrates more on the internal functionality. The price is affordable so people would definitely go for it if they ignore the design aspect. This phone has almost similar battery life as that provided in some of the best handsets like Galaxy S5 and Honor 6. Rests of the features are also not bad and one can get the smooth functioning of the handset at the expense of slippery back and there is always a fear to holding device right in hand.
