The operating system that XOLO Q520s runs on is Android v4.4 KitKat coupled with a processor of Quad Core 1.3 GHz MTK6582M which is quite good for a budget phone. A hitch in the swift performance of the phone is the RAM which is limited to 512 MB. Multitasking and heavy use of the device will cause it to slow down and eventually the system may hang when the load increases so it is not a good choice for power users.

Camera and Multimedia:

Turning the backside of the smartphone you will find a camera of 5MP. If you are a selfie person you will find a VGA camera on the front side but you will have to compromise with its low quality and especially in dark indoor environment the camera results are extremely poor and cannot be relied on. Verdict:

This is a budget phone with a decent and elegant design in a very reasonable price. However, due to the front camera being VGA the XOLO 520s is not able to deliver a fine picture quality, you cannot rely on it to take selfies, especially in the dark indoor environment. The most ravishing feature is its software which is up to date. It also carries a powerful processor and the battery capacity is also good enough for a phone in this range. But a thing which is quite perturbing is that the RAM is very low, it could have been slightly better to allow for a sufficient performance during heavy use and especially while multi tasking.
