Karbonn Titanium S15 Mobile Price in India
Karbonn is a big phone manufacturer based in India. Even though the business was founded quite recently – in 2009 – they are already churning out fantastic products. The Titanium S15 is a great example of what they can do. The phone is aimed at the largely saturated mid-ranged smartphone market. It tries to gain an advantage by having a very sleek and minimalist design.
Features and Specifications
The Karbonn Titanium S15 is compatible with dual SIM configurations (GSM + WCDMA). The screen is based on WVGA technology. It has a size of 4 inches, and a resolution of 480 x 800. Unfortunately, it can only display a quite laughable 262 thousand colors. The operating system is Android 4.4 Kit Kat; this gives you access to some of the more developed and new Android functionality, most notably the improved performance of KitKat. The processor is a 1.2GHz Quad Core, so it’s good enough for any causal user for sure. The storage situation is OK, with 4 GB of internal storage and 32GB of expandable storage via microSD card. There is 512 MB of RAM, which is a decent amount, but might pose problems if you are a power user. The battery has 1500 mAh of capacity, which is decent amount; the talk time is 4 hours, and the stand by time is 4 days. The connectivity features are quite diverse, with 3G, 2G, WIFI, USB Connectivity, GPS, and Bluetooth.
Design and Quality
The design of this phone is very neat and tidy. It is quite minimalist with no extreme colors, or design decisions. The Titanium S15 comes in both black and white colors, which allows a bit of customization. There is a bezel around the perimeter of the phone which has a metallic look to it. There are also two buttons at the bottom of the phone which appear as dots. This makes the aesthetic look really clean and nice; it is somewhat similar to an earlier iPhone in design.
OS and Tech
The operating system is Android 4.4 KitKat, which offers some of the more cutting-edge Android functionality and experience; namely, the improved performance. The processor is a 1.2GHz Quad Core, which is extremely common in this middle of the road smartphones. It’s good enough for a casual user, but if you need something serious, look for another device.
Camera and Multimedia
The camera is 3.2MP, which is decent at best. You can potentially take some nice photos with this phone, good enough to share with your friends and whatnot. However, don’t expect to take pictures as good as, say, a Nokia Lumia would. As far as multimedia, there is a music player, a video player, and an FM radio.
Battery and Memory
The capacity of this battery is 1500 mAh with a talk time of 4 hours, and a standby time of 4 days. These measurements are quite decent, and should last you a good day of operation. If you are a power user, this phone might have an insufficient battery for your needs. The internal storage is 4GB, which is expandable via microSD up to 32 GB.
