Intex Aqua V3G Mobile Price in India
Intex is a large manufacturer of phone based in India. They are very active in the Indian market, and have achieved multiple technological feats throughout their lifespan. Intex is active to this day, and focuses at providing budget phones to the market. The Aqua V3G is one of their more high-tech phones, yet it is still priced extremely competitively. It provides a lot of functionality for a very small price, and is a fantastic solution for individuals who are looking for a budget smartphone.
Features and Specifications
The Aqua V3G supports two SIM cards, although one of them is WCDMA rather than GSM, which may or may not be an issue. The touchscreen is capacitive, coming in at a size of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, and can display 262 thousand colors. The operating system is Android 4.4 Kit Kat. This is a great OS, as it provides not only the robust functionality of Android, but it also is lightweight and snappy. The battery has a capacity of 1300mAh, which isn’t too much, but it will suffice for the casual user. With 256 MB of internal memory, you will not be able to have an abundance of multimedia. However, if you would like this, just insert a microSD card of up to 256MB. The RAM is 512MB, which is really good considering this is a budget smartphone. The primary camera is 2MP while the secondary camera is VGA. You can do video recording, digital zoom, time stamping, color effects, and go into “scene mode”. This is a fantastic feature set for this camera. The connectivity is very good as well, with support for 2G, 3G, WIFI, USB connectivity, GPS, and Bluetooth. There are some additional features such as the LED flashlight, the G-sensor, Intex zone, games, and some pre-loaded apps.
Design and Quality
The design is nothing special. It is a full black phone with pretty big bezels which have no practical use. There aren’t any off-screen buttons on this phone for navigation, so it feels like there is a lot of dead space.
OS and Tech
With Android 4.4 KitKat, you will be able to do all of the typical Android activities. In addition, 4.4 KitKat brought about performance upgrades which will greatly benefit this phone. Overall, it is a fantastic OS to have. The processor is quite a bit underpowered for even a budget phone. It is a 1GHz processor with only one core. This is not too great, but might be OK depending on who you are.
Camera and Multimedia
The camera experience of this phone is overall very good. With the primary camera being 2MP, you will be able to take some pretty decent photographs. There are a bunch of features included with this camera as listed in the features and specs area. There is also an LED flash, which is really convenient. While the secondary camera is VGA, that’s acceptable, as it’s not expected to be that great. Multimedia features are good, with a music player, a video player, and FM radio. The music and video players can handle the most common codecs of today.
Battery and Memory
The 1300mAh battery may seem insignificant, but it is actually rated for 5 hours of talk time and 160 hours of standby time. This is completely acceptable, and should be enough battery life for most people. The memory is OK, with 256 of internal storage, and up to 32GB with a microSD card.
Pros and Cons
For Pros:
· Great price
· Good camera
· MicroSD support
· Dual SIM support
For Cons:
· Screen isn’t great
· Processor is a little bit underpowered
· Design isn’t anything special
Verdict
If you need a well-rounded budget smartphone, that is what the Intex Aqua V3G is looking to provide. If you don’t mind the lesser processor and the low-res screen, this could be a good potential buy.
