Intex Nano 2X
Score
Intex Nano 2X Mobile Price in India
The Intex Nano 2X is an extremely small and minimalist phone. It reduces any and all weight and size commonly found on a phone, and is very well deserving of the “nano” title. Due to its small size, it takes less materials to produce it, and therefore, costs a decent amount less than other normal sized phones. The Nano 2X is brought to you by Intex, a huge phone manufacturer from India. They make a lot of budget phones, hand have pioneered various technologies and designs. The Nano 2X is one of their most brilliant products, and showcases just how small and cost effective they can make a phone, yet retain all of its practical functionality.
Features and Specifications
The Nano 2X can fit double SIM cards (GSM + GSM), which is pretty impressive considering the size. It has a 128 x 160 pixel display which measures 1.8 inches in size and can display 65 thousand colors. It is certainly a very miniscule screen, but it does the job just fine. The operating system is proprietary, so it includes core functionality, a few multimedia apps, and a few miscellaneous tools. The battery, without surprise, doesn’t have much capacity, coming in a 1000mAh. The internal memory is 60KB, and can be expanded with a microSD card by up to 32GB. The camera is pretty bad, with pictures coming in at a QVGA resolution, which is even smaller than VGA. Connectivity is as expected, with 2G, GPRS, Edge, and Bluetooth support. There is some nice additional functionality such as the Intex zone, games, alarm clock, calendar, and calculator.
Design and Quality
The biggest aspect of the design of this phone is the size; it is extremely tiny. Aside from that, there are some very interesting 45 degree angles at each of the edges instead of the normal square or curved shape. This makes it look high-tech, cutting edge, and generally pleasant. Aside from that, everything else is standard.
OS and Tech
The proprietary OS will deliver an experience focused on core functionality rather than a bunch of applications and software features. You will be able to listen to some music, make phone calls, play games, and experience a few applications. It is not a diverse and expansive experience, but that is to be expected.
Camera and Multimedia
Intex likes to provide phones with terrible quality cameras. Nowadays, budget phones like these usually ship with at least a VGA camera, while this one is only QVGA. This is a lot less than 1MP, and will delivery extremely grainy and low-quality images. It is not going to be a good camera experience, but at least they included a camera at all. You will not be able to take any kind of video recording, there is no LED flash, or any advanced camera software features.Multimedia is decent, with support for audio playback.
Battery and Memory
With the battery capacity being a mere 1000mAh, you might think that the phone isn’t going to last long at all. On the contrary, it is actually rated for 10 hours of talk time on a 2G network, and 300 hours of standby time. This is probably in part due to the small screen and minimalist functionality. The memory is 60KB, but you can expand this by 32GB with a microSD card. This is a good compromise in terms of memory, because you will have enough internal storage to take a few photos, and if you want more, you can use microSD.

Verdict
