Lemon is a company that takes user needs seriously for economical designs of smart phones. One of such models is the lemon ocean 101 which is a smart phone with the one of the best batteries ever at 3000 mAh of battery power. It was released in December 2014 and has been in the market with some quality features. Although the price range for this set was reasonable from the start and that is the reason why it does not have some particular features. But overall it is a good smart phone depending on what kind of user buys it.

Features and Specifications:

It has dual SIM capability allowing users to cover two networks at the same time. It has both 2G and 3G and all typical connectivity options such as Bluetooth and navigation options.

The phone has a 5 inch screen and a powerful processor. The internal battery is average at 8 GB but can be extended to 32 GB. It is one of the few phones to have a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core CPU as most with similar specifications have a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core or Dual Core processors. This is good in comparison.

Design and Quality:

The phone is big in size as shown by its dimensions and has a large screen for display which is good for viewing. The dimensions for the phone are 145 x 73.5 x 11.4 mm and the design is also smart. It is a bit broad I the sense that it is square and seems heavy. The phone does not have any screen protection to start with which is not a good option for users as it could easily leave scratches.

The quality of display is a format of FWVGA with 854 x 480 pixels. The screen is 5 inches in size with an IPS LCD capacitive touch screen.  The display of items is very good in the phone. 

OS and Tech:

The operating system for Lemon Ocean 101 is the version 4.4.2 for Android known as KitKat. It has good display quality as the GPU it is using is Mali 400 MP. It has a 1.3 GHz Quad- Core CPU and 1 GB RAM.

The phone supports 2G and 3G and also has Bluetooth, GPS (AGPS) and Wi-Fi access. It can be attached to a micro-USB.

There are lots of applications pre-installed in the phone and you can also add other android based applications such as games.

The Lemon Ocean 101 is a good model of smart phone with good battery time and a powerful processor. But it also does not have any extraordinary display or presentation. It is dual SIMs and good features enabled and will impress a lot of people.

It has its competitor in the Intex Aqua N2 which is also a smart phone with similar price range and specifications. A lot of buyers would value the Spice model more because the screen is larger and display is better. That does not mean Ocean 101 does not appeal to users.

A lot of people like its broad design and features. They do not want more detailed features like display or use it for leisure purposes. They want to be able to use the cell phone for extended periods of time.
