Micromax Bolt Q324 Mobile Price in India
Micromax, this local Indian company has been on its way on making a mark in the smart phone industry, the world usually dominated by giants from outside the borders, the company is properly know for not joining the bandwagon of Androids and has brought to us the Cyanogen OS in the YU Yureka phone. But with this Bolt Q324, Micromax has checked all the boxes for a great value for money package. Giving exceptional features for a very reasonable price, this phone is the best of both worlds.
Features and Specifications:
The phone comes with a 4 inch WVGA touch screen with 480x800 pixels and the color count of the screen being at 262k, though not the best display screen out there but when the price is considered it is basically a win win situation. The phone is powered with 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor which is unheard of in the price range with most of the smart phones in this price range being powered by dual-core processor. The phone has 2 megapixel primary and secondary camera VGA resolution. The phone has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM for basic app usage and the micro SD card slot can house a card of memory of as up to as 32 GB. The phone is like all the new smartphones with 3G and Wi-Fi and AGPS.
Design and Quality:
The phone is not really the best looking phone in the market, but certainly is not the ugliest phone either, though the finishing of the phone of the phone can justify the cheap price, the back cover of the phone gives a very plastic feel and the camera is housed at top center of the mobile phone and the flash towards its right hand side. The Micromax logo is right underneath the camera and the loud speaker slits are at the bottom of the back side. The front of the screen is mostly covered by the screen, with the touch sensitive buttons at its bottom and earphone at the top ad to its right lies the secondary camera. The right side of the phone houses the power button while the left houses the volume rocker, whereas the earphone jack and USB port are towards the top side of the phone and the bottom of the phone is curved outwards.
OS and Tech:
Micromax Bolt Q324 has the latest Android preloaded in to it which as we all know is a very good UI and is quite customizable. The OS provides better memory management which will allow a smoother experience when it will come to multi-tasking.
Camera and Multimedia:
Camera quality and camera features might not be one of the areas where this phone will excel. Though the camera has a LED flash to aid it but the camera at just 2 Mega-Pixels won’t be taking on any of the other smartphones, which are usually at 5 mega-pixels. The phone has the ability to record 720p videos and can also play the videos in that quality so therefore this is quite a win for the Micromax Bolt Q324.
Battery and Memory:
The phone is powered by a small battery of just 1450 mAh which Micromax claims can offer up to 5hrs of talk time but in the most realistic of conditions under normal usage the phone will give half or even less than half a day of usage time. The phone has a 512 MB ram and 4 GB rom with 1.29 GB of app storage and 1.05 GB of phone storage, furthermore the phone can also support a micro SD card of up to 32 GB.

For pros:
· Reasonable price
· Good design
· 720p recording and playback
· 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor
For Cons:

The Verdict:
All in all the phone is quite reasonable phone with reasonable performance at a very reasonable price, the phone is a perfect blend of compromise of performance over price. Other phones in the same price include XOLO A500s with more or less the same features and specifications.
