The Aqua Y2 is a Dual SIM smartphone with a 4 inch screen. The screen is made with IPS capacitive technology offering 16M colors along with multi-touch. OS used in the handset is Android v4.4.2 Kitkat while processor powering the handset is a 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor. The Aqua Y2 comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB with the help of a Micro-SD card. The device has a 5MP rear shooter with an LED flash while at the front there is a 2MP camera for taking selfies and maximizing the potential of the connectivity features. The smartphone has a 1500mAh battery and all the basic connectivity features of a smartphone are present.

Design and Display

The Candy bar handset is simple yet sturdy. The Aqua Y2 has got the natural looks that make the smartphone all the more alluring. It is available in two colors- Blue and White, both of which looks good and natural with the phone. The 4 Incher is quite compact and although the phone lands in the thicker region, the thickness makes the device easily accessible. The Intex Aqua Y2 is a decently packed smartphone with good features to boot in the entry level segment. The smartphone does perform wherever necessary and has interesting tweaks beyond the ordinary to offer. The device may face serious challenges from Lava Iris 404 Flair and Karbonn A96.
