XOLO A1010 Mobile Price in India
Ever since its start in 2012 XOLO mobiles has been providing the consumer market with a range of affordable mobile phones, the company is known for its first ever Intel integrated chipset mobile phones. But the company is widely known for its entry level smartphone, the XOLO A1010 announced in March 2015 is a part of that flagship. With good features for the price range this phone can very well compete with the Samsung Mobiles Phones and Sony Mobiles that come more or less in the same price range.
Features and Specifications:
XOLO A1010 comes in loaded with a 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen which supports up to two finger multi touch. The screen resolution though not full HD still is rather competitive at 480 x 854 pixels at 196 ppi. The phone has 1 GHz dual core processor and a 512 MB ram. XOLO A1010 comes with 4 GB ROM which is also backed up by the MicroSD card slot which can support up to 32 GB. The primary camera is a humble 5 Mega-pixels sensor and the front camera is a VGA camera. The phone has also the basic feature which you can expect in a basic entry level smartphone like FM radio, GPS and accelerometer and the proximity sensor. The phone can support up to two Sims and has 3G connectivity. The phone also has the ability to be connected with a USB via OTG cable.
Design and Quality:
XOLO A1010 the phone 8.8 mm thick and has quite a sleek look. The 5 inch screen covers 66% percent of body while the rest of front houses the secondary camera the top front left corner which is housed close to the speaker and right beneath the speaker lays the proximity sensor. The back side of the phone houses the camera at the top right side corner with the flash right underneath it. The loudspeaker slit is placed at the bottom of the back side of the phone. The back cover of the phone is fixed and it cannot be removed to access the battery underneath. On the right hand side of the phone lies the power button while the volume rocker is on the left side and the audio jack is on the top of the phone and which leaves the Micro USB port at the bottom of the phone, which makes the use of the phone a bit difficult when it is on charging or if its connected. The phone is packed in a very stylish body which is available in two colors (white and black)
OS and Tech:
The smartphone is set up the latest Android (V4.4.2) KitKat which provides an all-round customizable user interface. There are not many lags in the working of the phone but sometimes the lesser powerful CPU and a lower ram may be a hindrance while running heavy apps like Skype.
Camera and Multimedia:
As discussed before the phone comes loaded with a 5 Mega-Pixels primary camera with flash. The camera has auto focus and basic gizmos include Geographic tagging, panorama, smile detection and face detection and in built HDR. The secondary camera is a VGA camera. Both cameras support video recording but sadly it lacks HD recording capability though for the price range the camera is quite good and is able to capture acceptable pictures. Another amazing feature on this phone is OTG support and transfer of data is now a no big deal, and the A1010 is among the first budget phones to have this feature.
Battery and Memory:
The XOLO 1010 has a very good battery for the price range which is a 2500 mAh battery giving the phone up to 28hrs of talk time on 2G and 15hrs of talk time on 3G while the stand by time is as long as 961hrs. The battery timing of the phone is a really winning feature of the phone making it superior to many phones in the same price range. The memory of the phone as discussed before is expandable to 32GB and the internal memory of the phone is 4GB. Furthermore the OTG connectivity allows the data transfer to a USB so possibilities are numerous when it comes to storage space in the XOLO 1010.
Pros and Cons
For pros:
· Good battery life.
· OTG connectivity
· Good styling
For Cons:
· Dual-Core CPU
· Low RAM
The Verdict:
The XOLO 1010 is a good all-rounder phone when it comes to meeting your needs in a small budget, in fact it offers much better value for money than other phones that are present in the market for the same price namely Gionee Pioneer P1, which has an inferior camera and lower battery life. The phone is surely not an underdog but it can be said it isn’t a bad option to opt for either,
