It allows for video recording, as well as panorama shots. The secondary camera of this phone is a meagre 2 megapixel, but it enables the users to make video calls and use it for the purpose of taking every day selfies. Powered by 1400 mAh battery, the Aqua N7 can allow a user 5 hours of talk time and around 10 days of standby time, the latter being an impressive feature less phones at such a price can offer. Unlike most budget-friendly smartphones, this particular one offers Document Viewer and Quick Office for one's business needs. It also offers 3G and 2G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, microUSB connectivity, and an audio jack.
Design and Quality:
Offered to the users in a charming Midnight Blue color, this phone is available in the slab form with rounded corners for better handling. Thefront of the phone includes three main navigation buttons of the typical Android format, and the rubbery edges of this phone consist of the power/screen lock button on theright for quick startup, and the volume up and down buttons on the left of the phone. The hind part of this phone, which is of a matte finish, consists of the primary camera on the top right corner with the flash right beneath it, and the speaker grill on the lower left side of the phone. The audio jack and the USB connectivity port are both located on the top of the phone. All in all, this phone is not just a good one to look at, but is made of material that will not wear out as easily and quickly as those with glossy finish do.
OS and Tech:
The Aqua N7 is a dual sim phone (GSM + WCDMA), and runs on the Android v4.4.2 (KitKat). This operating system allows the user to install and use basic smartphone-based applications; however, most of them run their updated versions on more recent operating systems. Facilitated by 1.2 GHz quad core processor, this phone allows for multitasking and swifter shifting between applications due to the quad core processor it runs upon.
Camera and Multimedia:
The Aqua N7 comes equipped with an 8 megapixel primary camera, enabling the users to take pictures and save memories in fine quality. The LED flash and Autofocus provide for an even better standard of pictures, and video recording permits for a better saving of memories. Another feature this phone's camera has to offer is panorama shots, so that one can preserve a 360 degree viewable memory when he desires to. The front-facing camera of this phone is 2 megapixels, which are just enough to make video calls with or to use Snapchat for conversing with friends through selfies. Other multimedia features this phone provides the user with include the music player supporting WMA, AMR, MP3, AAC+, MIDI, and AAC formats; FM Radio with recording; and a video player bearing MP4, AVI, HEVC, 3GP, and VP9 formats.
Battery and Memory:
The 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery that arrives packed with this phone allows the users up to 5 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time - both on 2g. Though the talk time provided might not be as impressive as other high end phones might have to offer, one has to keep in mind that this is a mid-range phone, and that the standby time it provides the user with is pretty impressive. Coming to the storage capacity of this phone, it has 512 MB of external memory and 4 GB of internal memory to give to the user. The internal memory can be expanded by up to 32 GB through the micro SD slot available in the phone.
Pros and Cons:
For Pros:
· Dual Sim
· Affordable
· FM Radio with recording
· Slim
· Good camera
· Good speakers
Cons:
· Only 512 MB external memory
· Less talk time
Verdict:
At a price as low as one this phone holds, one expects a compromise on the quality of the features. However, this phone does not fail at providing a good camera, impressive standby time, and other important features mentioned above, but the manufacturers also kept in mind to have kept it slim so it is easier to use and handle. Compared to the Micromax Bolt AO65, this phone has a better camera in the same price range, while the Micromax Bolt A67 has a slower processor and a lower pixeled camera to offer in about the same price range as this one.
