The most well-known name in India is probably the T-Series for the entertainment. The company is expanding its business in other domains as well and smartphone is prominent among them. The first ever smartphone from the company is SS900 Feather which is a budget device but at the same time very stylish as well. The look and design of the device is very inspiring. It has decent specifications as well which may give this handset some boost in its fame. The detailed analysis of the device is mentioned in this article and its success is to be determined.
Features and Specifications
It has 4.5-inch screen of type IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen having resolution of 960x540p. The processor of the device is 1.3GHz Quad-core and RAM is 512MB. The internal storage is 4GB which can be further expanded using microSD card. The primary camera is 8MP and the secondary one is 2MP used for the video conferencing and selfies. The OS here is Android v4.4 KitKat while the battery is 1450mAh. The network services are 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. RAM is limited here which may appear in performance bottleneck.
Design and Quality
The design of the device is very inspiring and interesting; this is no doubt a stylish handset. The design of the device is fantastic. It has matte pearl finish on the back side of the device while chrome finish around the rim. The secondary camera located at the front of the device protrudes slightly but the back camera has silvery finish all around it in order to make it stand out. All the edges are curved giving the excellent look and feel to the device. The 4.5-inch screen use better than other Android One phones. The viewing angles of the screen are also very decent showing natural colors and a decent response of touch.
OS and Tech
OS is latest one here so very smooth multitasking is observed in it. But little performance laps may be observed as the RAM is too limited. RAM affects a lot on the performance of the devices so the company should have increased the RAM to about 1GB so that user would not be having any complaint about the performance of the smartphone. On the average, the OS is capable enough to carry on the good working.
Camera and Multimedia
8MP rear camera is decent enough to provide good performance. It takes good quality pictures and under good light conditions, the images produce real depth and clarity but in some cases noise is produced in the pictures which don’t feel good. The front camera is also decent and works perfectly fine for the video calls and the selfies. The videos recorded by the rear camera turn out to be decent as well. The quality of the videos is also nice and there is very little noise or jerks are observed while they run on the device screen which enhances their quality by depicting real colors.
Battery and Memory
1450mAh battery is not bad at all but this is not enough to keep the phone running for whole day and one would require to recharge it at least once in 24hrs. 512MB RAM may at times prove bottleneck for the performance of the device and most of the time very limited RAM is left which then creates trouble. The internal storage is also limited though expansion to it is also provided which is decent enough.

Verdict
This device is to some extent a commendable effort. It has a stylish good design and better software installed in it. But the next release of it requires some major improvements especially in battery, camera, and particularly enhancement of RAM. But there are better products already available at the same price this device has been introduced which are Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Micromax Unite 2 and Asus ZenFone 4. Little more improvement can make this device better than those mentioned in competition. But this is overall an excellent effort from the company which is going to be liked by many people for sure.
